First Bloom, Butterfly, Rocks, Katydid, Pool and the Girls

Last week I had my very
first Morning Glory bloom,
and I was so pleased. I had
forgotten that they come
in colors and I had bought
seeds for purple ones.
Also last week while out
plucking off dead blooms for
the seeds, I had this guy
follow me from
one bed to the other.

But what is so strange, early that
morning I was sitting on the front
porch talking to Amber on her
way to work. There were two male
Eastern Bluebirds that visited the yard.
I have seen them before flying around
but never coming that far into my
yard to eat and fly around.
My first thought was that mom
was paying a visit, checking on me.
These were mom's favorite birds
so, when I see one, I think it is
her checking on me.
Then just a few hours later,
I had my encounter with
this guy. You know what they
say, butterflies are loved
ones flying down to check on
you. All I could say to mom
at this point, "Mom, okay I get it,
you sent me signs, I see them,
but now I need to you tell me
what the signs mean". If you remember
correctly, the day my mom was buried
I had a cardinal visit the deck, and I
had to get it out of the screened area,
at which point it let me pet it. I said
then that must have been a sign
from mom letting me know that
all was well, and she sent a bright
red bird to do it, so that I could
not miss her message.

Did I figure out what these two
signs were about? Nope, but a friend said
it was just her way of letting me know
she was around and still with me.

Hoping that was correct cause
like I say, I can be blind.
Yesterday, while mowing, I found
a feather. Cardinal, butterflies,
dragonflies and feathers are suppose
to be signs showing you that
your loved one is around.
Who knows, but like I said,
I hope that is all this is and I
am not missing something!!!
lol

I posted the last two
rocks I painted for my
"where I have been garden"...
but I thought I would share
all the rocks at one time.

Gosh, I need to get on the
road and go somewhere.

When I got in the car to go with
Amber to go to Trinti and Caleb's
baby shower. I
was greeted by a Katydid on
the door.

As we drove off, it held on.
It hung on and on,
all the way went all the
way to Charlotte with us, about
40 mins away.

When I got out in Charlotte,
it was still there, a tad wind
blown I am sure.

Then just a couple days later
while out watering plants I
saw this one hanging on
to my flower.

They are such a pretty green,
this one really blended well
with my plant.

Amber said that she never
heard of a Katydid, I had to pull
out the phone and show her
that they do exist.

Sometimes I wonder how
she is my kid!

One day last week I took
Braden to the Rec Center in
the next city. We went swimming.
Well, he swam and played
ball with some
boys there. I got in and
hung on to the side, then
sat in my chair reading.
I don't swim.

But I enjoyed it.

Here is your fix of
my furs!

Wow, Lily sure does look
comfy,
Nap time looks good on
her, maybe I will close my
eyes and see how it looks on
me!

Smile,
Pam
