Tire Tree, Gift Box, Ice Cream, and Loss of a Cousin
Six months till Dec.
and Christmas stuff is already
showing up in FB and Pinterest,
plus, I think Christmas
movies are showing on
Hallmark.
I bet you all
know that this is
something I would put
in the yard for
Christmas.
haha
However, I will not be doing
it. First, I don't have the tires,
I will not go and buy the tires,
and I would not wish to find
the spot to store the tires
when Christmas was over.
Not happening.
I saw this on FB.
Taking boxes from food
items and making your
very own gift
boxes.
I will have to try this
for sure.
The other night Amber and
Braden had me to dinner.
DJ was at his dad's.
I took her and B for ice cream
once we let our food settle a bit.
We had been wanting to try
this place not far from
us. Here is what was
outside the ice cream
place.
Now, that is cool.
B was acting tough like
he did not want me to
take his pic. He is getting
at that age.
He got a waffle cone, one
scoop with worms on it.
Let me tell you, that one scoop
was a big one.
Actually, we all three got
a waffle cone with one scoop.
I got blueberry with no topping
and it was
so good. I usually can't eat
a lot of ice cream but
I managed to take care of
every bite.
That was Saturday night and
on Sunday I had B and Amber
over for dinner only, I got tricked,
B went to his GFs to swim. It
was just Amber and I.
Pretty bad that I invite her
to dinner and she cooks the
steaks!!! lol...
I was just fine with that.
Thanks to my brother Ray for
the steaks.
I knew that brown sugar and
butter would caramelize
but was not thinking when I
put butter on my bread, sprinkled with
cinnamon and brown sugar, but did not
give a lot of thought to
it caramelizing if it stayed
in the oven a tad too long. Around
the corner of the bread got
a tough harder than I was
going for but it was still
good.
On Saturday, I lost yet another
cousin. She was two yrs younger
than me. Battled cancer several years
ago and won that battle. But lung issues
and COPD that she dealt with for years
took its toll on her.
She is the third of six siblings
that we have lost. The youngest
of the six was a boy, the only one, and
we lost him several years ago.
His sister, Jerri Elaine passed away
the week of Thanksgiving,
2024. Now Annette.
That leaves three of the
Wyatt girls left. That is what they
came to be referred to, Wyatt girls.
Wyatt is their last name.
Advice today, hug and tell your
family you love them,
Pam
