Podcast, Misty, Nap, In the Yard, Blue Bird and Mom, and Sunset

Morning.....
Thursday was a rough day.
Heat has appeared in TN. and even
being in the air condition, my body
knows. It rebelled yesterday.
I got up with the girls at 5:30 am,
had my coffee and laid on the
daybed outside with the tv
and napped till 3:30 pm. Oh yeah,
I woke enough to turn over,
get a drink, and go to the BR
but when that fatigue hits, that
is all she wrote.

I finally got up and went inside,
but I did not accomplish
anything.
NOTHING.

As I was curling up in bed
to watch tv, which I brought in
from the deck, I got a message
from my daughter that my
nephew, Chase was on a podcast.

I see his dad, my brother in him,
a little bit but I sure do see
my younger brother in Chase.
Looks just like him.
Funny how that works.

Anyway, it was showed live on
youtube and I assume it will
prob get posted there in a
day or so.

While the show was on you can
leave a comment so I just
put, "Aunt Pam is watching"!
Keep in mind, I joined the show late.
All of a sudden either Mike
or Jrod said,
"Aunt Pam is watching,
shall we talk about the mailbox"?

Oh hell, apparently before
I got on, Chase told them who
taught him to drive a stick
shift and what he did to me!
That was so funny..

Story is, I am teaching the shifting
in my hood. Chase ask me,
"when can I get in 5th",
my reply was basically not
in the neighborhood. I guess
wanting to prove me wrong,
he speeded up, when to shift
into 5th, pulled to the right a bit,
and all I saw was that mailbox
coming at me.
Luck~ he missed it.
BRAT!

Anyway, if interested,
info about Chase.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chase_Montgomery

Chase has not raced since 08,
but started at 14 yrs old. He is
now that flipped around at 41.
Married with two boys and
running his dad's business.

Look at my girl. She and Lily
stayed with me on or around
the daybed while I slept
on Thursday. It was not
too hot out and I had fans
on. Which now has me
thinking ceiling fans out
there.

Its just a few after 9am and
Misty is butting my foot in
need (haha) of her treats. It is
not even close to time. So, I
am doing my hands like I
taught her and telling her
all gone.

Sitting out taking pics
of the birds the other day
and snapped this of a
honey bee.
I have not seen this
many in my yard in years.

It was funny, I was watching
the bee and realized this purple
(when it spread its wings) was staying
right with the bee. If the bee
flew to another batch of
flowers, the butterfly did too.

Wed. evening Amber invited
me to dinner. I say that like thats
a big deal, actually she would
be fine with me coming
every night!
haha...

Front door opened, getting
my purse and phone together,
I look out and see a
bluebird, mom's fav
sitting on my pole. I grabbed
the big camera and took these
shots. Times like this are
when the smile comes out
and the tears appear.

Looking right at me,
thanks for checking in mom.
I am fine, mom.
Thanks for checking in.

Snapped a few pics on the
way from Ambers house
on Wed. night.
I always check around before
doing this cause I did get
a ticket in Dec for
having my phone in my hand!

Okay folks, gotta get up and
move it...
I did go out about 30 mins ago
and started to mow but
cause I let Carrie use my
mower the other day, I
now need gas. So.....gas here
I come.

Story behind that, Carrie hit a
deer on the way to work
on last Friday morn.
With that, truck in shop but
her mower was 45 mins
away where she works. She
owns a daycare she keeps up.
I told her she could use mine
cause her yard was looking
thick and she is better about
staying on top of that then me!!
Yes, she will replace gas but
she spent later that day looking
for a new car.

I am a good neighbor I
hope.
Do you do things like this
for your folks around
you?

A bluebird sighting! How wonderful! It sounds like you are an excellent neighbor. I'm lucky in that way too and hope they think I am!

I can imagine the heat there. It’s been cold here and lots of rain. How lovely that the blue bird signifies your mom to you! Hope it gets cooler there!

Sorry about the heat. I hope you had a nice, restful day. If you'd known that you'd get called out, I bet you wouldn't have left that comment, eh?
How cool about the podcast! It's been plenty hot here too so I'm parked inside.

That heat can get the best of us. Funny story about your nephew and the podcast.
