Old Fashion Candy, Soft, Vine, Visitors, Zebra and Flowers

You know sometimes I think I
am the most boring person in the
world but with that said, I am
always trying to think of
little fun things to do involving
others.....

Like with the boys, I been
buying older candy, well its
not the candy itself that is old,
I mean the brand. haha
Course I explained to them that
we did not get candy
regularly or have it around the
house. It was not till I was
a teen that I ventured out,
that is the candy I am buying.
Why am I buying it, to
introduce the boys to it.

So far, DJ likes orange slices.

Braden likes Mary Janes.

Neither one liked Circus Peanuts.

DJ would not even try black
licorice.

but at least, Braden
tried it which surprises me.

All I found when I was
out and looking, was the big
fat ones above. I personally
like the thinner ones better.
I love that stuff.

I am so glad
that the boys like
playing along with me
on this stuff.
Now, to track down
some more.
haha

My sweet little
Russian Blue
babe.
But, that look don't
look so sweet!

My Cypress Vine,
if everything else would
grow this fast I
would have tons of
flowers.

While doing the
weed whacking
on Sunday, I ran
across several visitors.
Here are two.

The third one was the
same as the other
eight legged critter
    above. The fourth I
am not really sure what
it was, it moved too fast.
It could have been
a lizard, but if it was
it was a baby, and really
skinny. Or, it could have been
a baby snake, no clue.

UPDATE
       UPDATE
                UPDATE
on Ed the zebra,
he is safe, he is home,
now it makes me wonder
how they will contain
him now.
If went like this,
Alfalfa bait was set
to lure Ed out of the woods,
A drone high above
tracked him as the
helicopter closed in on
the running zebra.
Chopper dropped a net
on Ed. Crews on the
ground, secured him and
lifted him to safety.
He is fine, and home.

Now, nowhere but
Tennessee will you see
the Blue Angels and
and a zebra flying on
the same day!
Oh my!!

Here is a thought
to share with
you today...
Enjoy your day,
Pam

You boring? I don't think so, my dear. ~shakes head~ During my early childhood I liked circus peanuts for some reason. ??? But I ate too many and got sick, which ended that. lol Thank you for the smiles and giggles. I can relate to the plant math, for sure. Be well!

Do you have a candy store that sells all the old candies? Those are such fun. (Found one while visiting my uncle in February.)

No circus peanuts or licorice for me but I love the orange slices and like Mary Janes a lot, too!
I remember those old candies too. I used to like them but I don't think I would now. Yikes, a spider! Hello sweetest Misty!

I remember those candies. I don't blame them for not wanting to try the circus peanuts. I liked them back in the day but I have no idea why...lol
Glad to hear Ed is safe and sound
