Kitty Love and Locked Out, Whimsical Woman, The Tree, Chair in the Air, and a Columbine,

Friday, I had a bad day, the heat

zaps me even if I stay in.
I was just so tired and just
did not feel well.
I headed to my room,
just basically to crawl in
bed and watch
 TV and
then read. But Misty had
other plans.
I closed my eyes in this
pic cause I was hoping to snap
a shot of Misty reaching out
to pat my arm. Course once
I had the camera ready, she
decided to stop doing it.

She finally stopped staring at me
and laid down, I watched
some tv.....

and at some point, I fell asleep,
still in my clothes.

Not sure how long I slept but when
I woke, Misty was still with me
and I got up to go get a drink.
I walked into the living room and
spoke to Lily who was in her
favorite spot on the back of the
couch. I went to fridge and got
something to drink when I realized
that the cat window was still
open so I went over to lock
it. Back to bed, and out for
the night.

I work Sat. morning and as
soon as I opened my eyes I realized
the sun was really bright. I got up, looked
around for Lily. Misty was still with me.
I went to the living room, and
checked the house. No Lily.
I came back through the dining
area, and there she was at
9:40 am, looking at me through
the full glass back door.

Apparently, between the time I
spoke to her last night, and
the locking of the door,
while I was getting my drink,
she went out. I just assumed
she was still on the couch,
usually, I double check. I
felt like the biggest, most
horrible pet mom. I picked her
up and loved all over her, in
which, she let me hold her for about
2 or 3 mins (unusual) before she
demanded I put her down.

I can't tell from her behavior if
she is just in her normal tortitude or
if she is mad but seems like
all is well.

This look was not intended to
look pissy at me, she was
just taking a break from
cleaning her paws.
Or maybe it is her, I
am still pissed at you mom look.

I have been seeing these cute
Whimsical Women on
Pinterest

So you know, I had to make
one.
Mind you, my daughter says,
"do what you want and don't
worry what others think",
my son wanted to know if I
was making myself some friends.
Braden and DJ said they
were NEVER
coming over again if
I put her out.

What do you think of her?
I am going to get some yellow
flowers for her basket and
decorate the hat but should I
put her out? I think my neighbors
know by now that with me,
anything can go!
And personally, I don't care
what they think.
My only question is,
for me to decide is,
side, front or back yard!! lol

lol!

A few weeks back I posted
a pic of this tree. I had stopped
by Julie's brother's house,
Julie and James were cleaning and
clearing to put the house up
for sale. I was amazed at this
tree. Not only the height, but the
amount of shade, the strength
and mostly how big around it appeared.

When I got home, I shot Julie a message
and asked her to measure it.
James got back with me on
that, it measured, on the biggest
part at 12 feet round.
WOW....it sits right at the
driveway and the sidewalk
is off to the side. That is a massive
tree and I hope the new owners
leave it.
By the way, house is finished,
not even put on the market and
already under contract.

On Saturday evening, I think
Lily was making sure that she
was not locked out again.
She had that understanding
with Misty that it was her night
in the bed with mom.

Bless her sweet heart.

I figure kids did it, but,
I have no clue and these sort
of things leave you wondering.

Who knows!

Funny little plant,
Columbine.
I bought this early on this
year and it was in full bloom.
Stayed pretty for a bit then
all of sudden it started to look
bad, like it was dying. Then all
of a sudden it was like it sprouted
a new piece, and it has bloomed again.
Only one bloom but
it has surprised me. I almost
pulled it up recently, so glad
I did not.

It's just so pretty with
delicate looking petals.
And such a PERFECT color!

My thoughts for you today are
go out and dance with a
Whimsical Woman!
Dance in the rain,
dance around a tree,
just DANCE,
Pam

We worry about having our babies locked up someplace that they can't get out of. We're ever watchful. I'm glad she was okay.

Love those ladies. Adorable.

Have a fabulous day and week. A big cool hug to you and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
