FINALLY, Color in the Yard, The Visitor, My Familiar and the Box

Zebra 

UPDATE~

BREAKING: ZEBRA IS ALIVE AND WAS SPOTTED TODAY.
I have confirmed there was a sighting today 

in Rutherford County, TN of “Ed” the missing zebra.
(This is a previous photo from the weekend.)
This is great news.
Ed has become something of a celebrity with

 people following the story across the country.
There had been no sightings of the zebra which

 escaped on Saturday for the past four days.
This raised concerns that something 

bad had happened to Ed.
But he is still active and roaming.
Professional trackers are now out in the specific area

 where he was just spotted on a trail camera and 

will be searching overnight and into the

 morning hoping to corral the zebra.
He’s sure to be hungry and thirsty and they

 hope to bait him into an enclosure where he’ll be captured.
I’ll be monitoring the situation.
FINGERS CROSSED. 
 

Hello to 

all!

Grabbed the big camera

and headed out in the yard.

My lavender. 

We all know these

plants but as I was touring

the yard, I noticed a 

area of these, and everyone

of them had little bees on 

them.

This grows wild in the yard.

Loving my Hydrangea.

I got the flower

below from Deana and 

when I walked around to 

the shed these were in 

 full bloom.

My spiderwort is in bloom

also.

 

I would have to scan this

to see what it is, but looks

like it will be blooming

before long.

Loving the color I am 

finally getting in the 

yard.

This is an interesting plant I 

found over by the 

Cypress Vine.

It is a Heartleaf Skullcap, 

member of the mint family and 

yes, its an herb. Just have not 

looked up what it was 

used for in the past.

I did find it on a gardening

website for 22.50, maybe I 

need to produce some of this 

to sell!!

Daylily in bloom.

Shame these blooms only

last a day.

Once I get up the UMP to 

work in this area, I 

plan on getting this dirt

out of the way and lay

landscaping stuff, then 

lay the dirt back.

Would rather not have

grass there.

 

On Friday I was in the 

driveway, under the 

carport when this guy jumped

out at my feet.

Not the same one I saw

the other day unless

he rolled in dirt cause this

guy is DARK.

This girl, she is my babe.

She loves being near me,

she loves laying on me,

I wake in the mornings and 

she is curled up next to me,

she can even be in another

room and I don't make a 

sound, but I open my eyes,

and she knows it.

You heard of familiar's?

She is mine. 

Due to all that being near

me stuff, that is why Lily

gets pissed at her!

Project for Friday~

I made a box!

A WHOLE BIG BOX.

haha...for what?

My shed is packed and I 

hate having to look 

for the shovel, rake, 

blower, anything like that,

SO.....I will get a door on this,

prime and paint (prob use my 

sprayer for the first time) and get

help moving to the porch. 

I am placing on the front porch, 

on the far end, and it will be

easier to get to it.

Door and lock, all 

will be well.
