Rajn and Decor, Sunshine and Birds, Soup Fossil, and Blooms

 Tuesday, a rainy, storming
day. We had 5, to my count,
storms that came through.
One, put the girls and I in
out safe space.

After one rain I was looking
out over the rail of the porch
looking at my newest yard decor.
Our ground is so soaked the
rain has no place to go.
Course, had Ben sowed the seeds
and laid the straw on the
dirt he spread, my dirt might
have stayed where it was
supposed to. However,
it is headed to the backyard and
I am not happy.
Course every rain produces
more and more rocks from
the dirt.
Anyway, at least the
water coming from the blue
pitcher, is fake and not real.

I went out this morning which is
Wed. and found the hook with the
blue pitcher and the wind thing were leaning.
Winds got really strong.

That was an easy fix so they
stand tall and straight now.

Wed. morning at least brought
SUNSHINE!

Looking at you while you look
at me!
Peek a Boo!

This is a Tuffed Titmouse.
Damn, what a name!

Here I have a shot of a female
and male house finch.

I happened to look out off the
porch on Tuesday when I
saw this fellow fly over
and land in this tree.
Bright red head.

Isn't this the coolest heart?

This is what folks in the
fossil world call a
Soup Fossil.
That is where, as you can
see, a rock pics up fossils along
the way.

I love this.

A rock will roll around for
years, maybe millions of years
on the bottom of the river, picking
up mud
 and fossils as it rolls.
Over sometimes I assume
that the dirt becomes like
a cement holding it all
together.

Every morning when I walk the
yard, I am greeted by my neighbors.
On Wed., it was a wet, slippery walk,
but I am greeted by these two.
Sometimes Trooper joins the greet.

Got a few plants looking like
it is time to bloom.

The little fairy living here must
love mushrooms.

Lavender in bloom.

I normally plant established plants,
but I did start my wildflower
bed with seeds two days after
April 16. That is over
a month, plants are up, but wow,
seems like it is taking
FOREVER to
grow more than an inch or
two, same with the seeds I
put out for morning glory's.
Did not realize it took so long
for them to
GROW.

Merry day to you all,
sending good vibes to you all,
Pam

Love the bird feeders. Very unique.

Have a fabulous day and rest of the week. Scritches to the kitties and a big hug to you. ♥

Sorry the storm made such a mess. In a couple years, storms won't hurt your landscaping so much, once you get things established. Establishing is the fun part, though, right?

I hope with no place to go, the rain didn't go into your basement. Hope things dry out soon.
I was thinking about you when I saw those storms headed in your direction. Have fur doing hte yard things when everything dries out.

What cute neighbors you have and so nice of them to come and visit with you.
That's a lot of mushrooms growing outside that fairy house.

I've adored all things 'fairy' since childhood. :) Are those mushrooms real? Oh, wait, it's your creativity with rocks again, isn't it? I'm sending good vibes and well wishes back to you, my dear.

I'm glad you are getting so much rain. That's always a good thing. Your fairy garden is delightful. I've always wanted to make one, and have gathered little items here and there to keep for when I do get around to it. That soup fossil looks like a shape of a heart. That is a wonderful photo of the bird with the tea cup peeking out at you. ; )

Have a terrific week, Pam.
