Planters, Duplex, Misty Hugs, Glove and Dolly and her Gloves

 Stopped at Lowes the other
day after my eye 
appt. and saw these
little planters for air plants.

Okay, here is my thoughts...
and air plant? Really? They 
are so tiny for one thing and for 
another, they can't grow in those
tiny pots.
Nope, not for me.

Now this I found really 
interesting!
A duplex mobile home.

I have never heard of such 
a thing. Look how long it is with 
all those windows. I would really like
to see the inside of this place.

Before heading out for my eye appt
the other day, I was checking on the 
girls, gotta know where they are when 
I leave. I could not find Misty, then 
I did! lol...
she is hugging that box and 
enjoying that heat.


When I packed up over  a
yr ago to move here, I of
course packed up my winter
stuff, including gloves.
When I got here, I unpacked
and put them where they needed
to be. All this time, not 
thinking that I might need
to keep Misty's security 
"blankets aka gloves". 
After cleaning out the car, 
bringing this in, she found
two pair of gloves and now I 
am finding them through out
the house!
I it fun finding the each
morning.

Silly girl.

Oh my word. I love her cause
you never know what will come 
out of her mouth!

You know years ago when I work
for state photo services, Phil (photographer)
photographed Dolly with the Governor
about her work with books for all 
kids. In seeing the pics Phil
took I told him that she 
could have all the work done
she wanted to but her hands
were a give away.
I have noticed in the last
few years that she is not 
wearing gloves with open
fingers to cover her again hands.
Age sure does rob us of all 
that we grew up trying to adjust 
too as we get older. About the 
time we get used to something, 
we wake and look in the mirror
just to see another change. 




Wonder how Misty would 
enjoy carrying around some fancy 
gloves like Dolly wears.

That's funny how Misty has a thing for gloves.
That looks like a double wide mobile home but of course can't tell without seeing the whole thing.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Mark, Ray, Creative, Tiny Living and Xiaozai Tiankang

 For those who know me and my family, understand that this is my  BROTHER! And those that don't know  my family..... Meet Mark! My younger brother. I shared this pic of my older brother in July. This is Ray. Ray is 2.5 yrs older than me and Mark is 2.5 yrs younger than me.  We are all three totally different, however, we all three carry the creative gene. Ray is good at wood working,  but his biggest ascent is his ability to manage business. Before retiring he owned a business where he went into other  businesses and revamped them,  helped them get back on their  feet. This man could touch a pile of  and turn it to money. FYI~ he started a company in the early 2000s for my nephew to race under.  Montgomery Motorsports, and that is just one of his companies. Mark, not that brain ever stops learning. Birds in the Yard

 Hello friends. This morning Dakota and I sat out on the deck, it was a nice 71 cool degrees after a night of storms and rain. The birds were singing and flying around and it was so peaceful. In the pic above I am standing on the deck looking into my Crepe Myrtle at the bird house I hung a couple months ago. I had been sitting there listening to this one bird that I was not sure what it was and was not sure where it was coming from. Then I saw her, on the branch next to the bird house and she was loud! She would speak out and another bird, same talk as her would speak up from in the trees on the creek. I then realized where that noise was coming from....her and him. Then I realized why. She flew from branch to branch checking things out before flying onto the bird house. And then I realized I heard babies too. I watched him and her do this for a long time. Such a pleasure.
