Bath, Watching Yarn, and Rock Hounding

On Monday evening, Misty and
Lily did their switch on me
again, Lily is going to
bed with me.
However, she had to have a
bathe before settling down.
After the bath was done,
Lily proceeded to watch me
crochet, watched until she
dived for the yarn moving as
I worked.
As it was, Lily slept with me,
Misty never came to bed.

On Saturday I took a ride down
some back roads here around me.
I was looking for maple trees
growing along side the road.
I found another treasure instead.
I went down around the creek
at the local ballfield and
JACK POT!
I went rock hunting instead.
The creek had actually taken
out some part of the road, on
the side of it but there were
so many rocks.

I found these.

Rhyolite is the most silica-rich

This gemstone holds no
properties for healing but
in the past used for arrowheads,
surgeons for scalpel blades and
sharp knifes
is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed
when lava extruded from a volcano cools
 rapidly with minimal crystal growth.
This gemstone holds no
properties for healing but
in the past used for arrowheads,
surgeons for scalpel blades and
sharp knifes

Red Jasper, also known as the
Stone of Endurance, offers physical
strength, energy, focus, and determination.
Its healing properties detoxify the circulatory
system, blood, and liver, while also reactivating
a sluggish libido. Red Jasper can absorb
negative energy, protect against electromagnetic
pollution, and provide grounding

I also located some Yellow
Jasper on my creek adventures.

The next day I headed
to Columbia basically
to go to Wally World.
Longer trip to that one
but it has more than
the two closer to me.
The park as a dock for
putting boats in the
water, Lots of rocks
washed up after those
days of storms and
rains. I was able to locate
these finds.
Basalt reads a lot like
Obsidian and Rhyolite.
Difference it is used
for making cobblestones
and statues.

I also found more
Red Jasper.
Did not take a pic of it
but I found a couple
of pieces of glass, like
a glass bottle, like coke etc.
The sides were worn down
and it was no longer sharp.
So, I did not find sea glass
but I found some
RIVER GLASS!

It is 11 am, thinking of
heading back to the creek below
the house with my camera
to take a few shots and see
if chance I can locate something.

What I find so strange on the
rocks I found, we don't have
Volcanoes in TN.
So, in the long run and I
am sure it is LONG, but it
makes me wonder what
river runs into the rivers
around me, and what runs into
it, and so on and so on.
Amazing.

It's always a joy trying to crochet when a cat is around. They just can't help themselves.
You found some cool rocks.
