Mayflower, Bee and Misty

 Have you ever wondered
if you had folks that came over
on the Mayflower?

While scrolling FB I saw
a page where someone
post the passenger list
of the Mayflower.
I jumped over to the
internet to check it out
and found it was real,

Posting the link to the
internet here for you too look
and see if any of your family
members were on the Mayflower.

I have to admit that I never
wondered but it was pretty cool
thinking that maybe. Yes, I did
check and saw no names
I know.

On Thursday night as I
was crawling in bed,
I saw a dead bee in the
bed.

Not sure if it came in
on my clothes after
being out working in the
yard or if one of the
girls came brought it
in off the deck.

Glad it was dead, and I did
not get stung. But I would like
to know how he got in my bed.

Talking about being stung, Friday
I went out to play in my
plants and while moving
some plants to plant in the
yard, I got stung.
Not by a bee, wasp or
hornet, it was from a mess
of fire ants.
$#%*,
talking about burning and
the itch afterwards was horrible.
Hoping it don't leave
welts on my hands. I am
already dealing with that
allergic reaction from working
in the yard the week before.

Now for your daily
smile from Misty.
I looked over in the bed
Thursday night before going
off to sleep and saw Misty
sitting up while she took
her bath.

haha.
Silly girl.

I had no idea you had fire ants. Yikes! I'm sorry you ran into them. And thank you for the kitty inspired giggles. Hugs, my dear.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure my ancestors were not on the Mayflower.

I'm glad you didn't get stung too. The fire ants would have been bad enough.
Misty looks like she's practicing yoga.

I always wonder what the voyages were like in those early days for the settlers to our countries. They were incredible people to undertake such a challenge. What must it have been like for them in the old country?
