Repurposing of Stuff, Super Bowl and Family, and Pollen Count

Repurpose items for something
other than the purpose they
were made for.

An old small cabinet
door from Humanity
of Habitat Restore. Chain
like used for making necklaces
and upholstery tacks.

I have scaled down on my
earrings some but I still
needed something to hold
them. I found this door
for 3 bucks, the chain I had, all
I had to do was pick up
the tacks. Great for holding
my earrings, keeping them
straight, untangled, and
unscrambled all together.

Took this old frame I had, 16x20,
wrapped screen around it and
tacked it in place, then used some
drapey hooks in the screen to
hang necklaces on.

Both pieces above I made years
ago and although I have scaled
down on both necklaces and
earrings, these two items
work great. They hang behind
the bathroom door, out of the
way but easy to get to.

I picked this piece up...
somewhere (don't remember)
cause I liked it. It used to just
sit on the bathroom counter
then I decided to actually use it
for hair items.

I think originally it was made
for earrings?

Then there is my favorite,
a dollar plate, and a dollar
cup, applied with E6000 to
hold them together. Great for
a bathroom or kitchen
sink.

Can't remember the price I
 paid for the little glass
tray, but I did get it from
Goodwill a few years back.
It sits on the bathroom cabinet for
holding soaps, little objects
that I need to put away
and usually q-tips in the other
glass cup.

Now, for those of you that don't
repurpose items, look around
the house and see what you can
find that you could use differently!
Think outside the box and let
me know what you think
you could use in other
way, and how.

Apparently, my son in law
thinks that on Super Bowl Sunday,
you have to wear football
pants!

In Jets colors even if they are
not playing!

If you think back to yesterdays
post you will remember I was
recouping from my day of
thrifting and dealing
with a major headache.
RAIN!

I was aware that everyone was
going to Amber's
 house for the Super Bowl,
I however, was not.
I did get the headache under control
a couple of hours before the
start of the game, but since I
am not into football, I still
thought I would stay home.
BUT, you know, all
things are subject for change.
I got this facetime call from
these rug rats.

All wanting Nana Pam
to come over.
I could not say NO.
I changed clothes from
my paint covered laying around
clothes to something decent and
I went.

Last week, Evie made my day
by running to the door
to greet me but last
night it was
Felicity that ran, saying
Nana Pam, and ran right into my
arms. Even if I still had
my headache, I would have
been glad I went, that was
worth it all.

A few pics from last night.
I left before the game ended,
not sure who won, don't care!
Beckham can make some of
the funniest faces, this one
not be the funniest. Like most
babies he can go straight from a
smile to a frown. I love that
he is staying awake more and
we get to enjoy him more.

This girl is a mess.
I have been out of the baby
talk for a long time which
makes it hard for me
to understand her most of the time.
She is not three yet but says
some of the funniest things,
like, "brother is not playing
properly"....
Oh my

Look at that smile below
on Felicity's face.

Namath found a place to
sit to enjoy the game and
eat his meal, on Evie's
couch.

Alistur AKA Boog cared nothing
about the game.

Ms. Sassy.

Amber and her grands, with
Braden showing out in
the background.

My two human girls.

I glad I felt better and
was able to enjoy my
time with the family Sunday
night.

According to the pollen
count in my area, its
time for me to start taking
a daily allergy pill.

Do you deal with the
seasonal effects of pollen?
I took shots for 10 yrs.,
stopping in 06. Only the last
five years have I started
to have issues again.
LIFE!
Always something.

Pam
