Memory Pic, Now Pics, the Girls, The Visitor, and Kids Games

 Morning folks.
Yes, morning, I say that
cause that is when I blog.
So, if its afternoon that you are
reading this, or evening,
GOOD AFTERNOON
GOOD EVENING!

Oh my gosh, this popped
up on my FB page as a
memory.
This was taken in 1978.
Left to right~
Mark - younger brother
Ray - older brother
and
me.

I so miss that dark hair.

This is Mark now.
He is a clown.
There is 2.5 years between
Mark and I and the same
between Ray and I.

This is Ray. He dressed
up for his grandkids.

Since I showed pics
of Mark and Ray, I
guess I need to show me so
that we all can see the
difference that 47 years
can make.

Me in the middle of
course.

Now let's move to the girls.
Misty River has been laying
beside me while I blog.
I looked over and she was
hiding her face.
Peek a boo!

This is nuts.
I was crocheting on the
couch when I looked up
to see this site.
I had to jump up and
take a pic,

Silly girls.

Talking about animals,

I had my SS/Medicare advisor
over to the house on Wed. and
as she was leaving this girl
ran up to us. Lora said she
saw her on her way over, about
2 miles back. This girl was traveling.
I fed her a bit and gave her
water but I also tied her up
and posted on our FB page.
She kept barking so I put her
on the back deck but I let her
go when she busted out part of
my screen door.

She had on a pink collar but
no tag. Very friendly and loving.

The next pic is her in the
driveway because she ran
from the front porch.
Why did she run, Lily
was standing inside the screen
door and this babe was
afraid of her.

Not sure what the deal was but
she was really afraid of Lily
and as long as Lily stayed at the
door she would not come around.
haha

Crap, doing something good
will require me having to rescreen
the deck door.
I just hope the girl made it
home safe.

Have you ever done something
good and it come back to
bite you in the rear?

Yesterday at the end
of my post I mentioned
that going through the
house looking for the
YELLOW
color, it reminded me
of things we used to
do as kids and told you
I would fill you in
on this post,
I almost forgot.
Anyway, it reminded me
of Ray, Mark and I
running around the house
with paper and crayons.
We were looking for
raised objects that we
could lay our paper on
and color over it, giving
us that raised item
on paper.

Amazing the things kids
used to do before
video games.

Another thing we would
do was~
I spy!
Sitting in the living room
at granny's house with
my cousins and brothers
house, playing that
game. HAHA
Kept us from getting bored
and it also kept us
out of trouble.
Course when we got
bored and tired of
playing I spy, we usually
got in trouble doing
something!

How did you keep from
getting bored as a kid?

My three older brothers and I frequently played hide and seek outside on summer evenings. On sunny days a younger neighbor boy and I sometimes pretended to be soldiers hiding from the enemy while living off the land; our yard had some grapes and berries growing wild. :D Your kitties made me smile. And lastly, as the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished. ~sigh~ No immediate example comes to mind, though. Best wishes, my dear.

I hope the doggo got home.

I read a lot as a kid. Spent my summers with my nose in many, many books. That's how I kept out of trouble.
Fun photos! It's nice to see Misty and Lily laying together. I hope that sweet dog got back home okay.
