Great Grands, Misty Staying Warm, Jackasses and The Three P's

 Saturday, we had cake again
for Amber's bday. Two cakes, one
week, for one bday!

Anyway, the great grands were
there. Here is sweet Felicity.
Took this pic and showed it to
her, she said, "that is disgusting"....
silly kid.

Alistur AKA Boog was watching
a show on his mom's phone.
And Everleigh was the only one
that came over to have her
pic made with me.
The newest great grand stayed
home with his mom. He is still
so little and best not to bring
him around so many folks
at one time.

Look at Felicity's hair.
Her mom fixes her
hair so cute.
It's been a cold two days.
High today was 39, and like
Liz stated in a comment, that is
a LOW, not a high!
It was CoLd!

Misty agreed with me, she
laid out on my laptop.

Now for the learning
aspect of this blog...
Did you know that there are
penguins that don't live
in the snow and ice? They
are  African penguins and they live
in colonies on the coast and
islands of southern Africa. They
are called Jackass penguins,
and they make donkey like
braying sounds to communicate.

African penguins nest in burrows
they dig out of their own poop, called
guano. Their guano is study enough to
protect the eggs from the elements,
but soft enough to burrow into.

First off, I did not know
that penguins lived in
Africa and I did not know
that there were penguins
called Jackass Penguins.
Goes to show we are
never too old to learn.

Sunday night I
traveled back to my
old stomping grounds
for a get together
for DuPont High
class of 78 and we invited
anyone, from any class
that wanted to come.
We met at the Corner
Pub in their party room.

It's the three P's..
Pam, Pam and
Pam!

There was also another
Pam in the class of
78, she was unable to
make it to our get together.
The Pam in the middle
came up from Atlanta.
I traveled 1.5 hours and
the other Pam came about 20 mins.

We had a great time,
Pam

Lovely grandkids
Such fun photos of all the grands and sweet Misty too. I didn't know there were penguins in Africa.

I had seven Pam's in my graduating class of about 180. And at least five Janets. If I meet someone named Pam I usually assume they graduated the same year as me! You are a little younger, LOL (class of 74)
