Cat Napping, Red, White and Blue, Day Lily, Friday Morning

Started to bed on Thursday night and
looked over on the back of the couch to
see this babe.
She had her little head turned
up. There are some times that
she is tucked in at such a way that
you can't tell where the head
starts or ends.

Feeling like
CRAP on
Thursday but feeling
like I needed to do something,
I made this.

Only this one cause I pushed
myself to do it.
Picked up the stars at
Dollar Tree, two to a pack for a
buck 25.
Two red, two blue and two
white. So yep, I will be making
another one.

My middle grandson got a job
for the summer. He works at a
gas station/market stocking the
cooler, taking out trash and etc.
Four hours a day.
But he starts at five, Amber is
30 mins away and don't get off till
five, so Nana picks him up and
takes him to work.
When I did that on Thursday,
then got home, before
even going in the house I watered my
plants. My Day Lilies given to me
by Theresa are blooming and I have
a TigerLily about to bloom.
Lily was named after that flower.

Happy Friday!
Oh wait, Fridays
 don't even affect me anymore!
lol

However, this is day two of
new meds, and the area
around my right kidney is not
hurting as bad.
Well, there might be hope.
Thinking my next stop might
be a new urologist and discuss my
issues to see if there are more
test that can be run to
be sure that this bacterial
infection is getting cleared up.
Just doing a urine test is not getting
it, it requires a culture to dectect.
Anyway, enough of that mess.

Friday morning the girls woke
me up. I stepped out on the deck
with Lily and saw the sky so
I grabbed the phone and went
to the front porch where
I was greeted by this site.

Went back to the back deck and
saw Lily, watching the sun come
up.

Went back in and took a morning
nap!
I spend so much time napping.
After my nap, I rolled over and
Lily Bit jumped down from
her space on the couch, to come
lay on me. I gave her some rubs,
closed my eyes and was woke again
by Misty sitting in front of the
couch, meowing.

Lily being Lily in graceful
Lily style, she meowed ugly like
at Misty and jumped down.
The issue is, Lily don't like sharing.
When she hangs with mom, she
wants Misty NO WHERE
around. So, just got down and
went to the deck since the back door
stays open.

With all that, Misty jumped up,
and curled up in my arms.

She then decided to nap for about
15 mins in my arms. She woke when
Lily came to us and announced
that it was feeding time.

We are all up now. I have had coffee and
it is 11am. These lazy, take care of me
days are rough. I am not getting things
done and with that said, I need to get
things done, you see, my friend
Tim from the Phillipines will be here
on the 15th.

When we started this visit thingy,
I thought it was just going to be
a time or two. We are hitting
four now. I hate to say it, but, sort
of hoping he decides that I live
too far out to stay with me.
I don't mind guest, I don't mind
them staying (a few days) but
using me as a stop in point between
visits to families in other areas, having
a key and coming and going, I
am not a fan of.
Who knows.

Have a great day,
Pam

I can understand how you feel about guests. I like my space to be mine.

Oh, when they curl up like that, I can't resist! I'm glad th enew meds seem to be helping a bit. I hope that continues. I know what you mean about guests. There are some that could be with you forever and others where enough is enough!
You sweet kitties sure are pretty and I hope the kidney pain issues are resolved super soon.

If he's been at your house so much, perhaps you should treat him as a sometimes roommate. You don't have to do anything special. He can take care of things himself ;)

I, too, understand the guest issue. In fact, I don't like to *be* a guest at someone's house. Your kitties are so beautiful. So is that shot of the sky! Prayers and hugs for better, less exhausting and painful days, my dear.
Such a beautiful Friday morning sky.

All the best Jan

Oh dear, I hope by now that you are feeling better. I seem to get bladder infections very easily so I feel for you, especially as you have other problems as well.
As for guests, I used to enjoy them, but I now find it very hard work!
Take care and sorry I have not been visiting often but the garden is taking over my life!!
Keep well, Diane
