Sectional, Table, Bench, Curtains, Girls Room, and Misty

I gave away my living room chair and
couch, sold my end tables and gave
away lamps.
Less to move plus I wanted
new.
For two weeks
before the move I brought
my glider in the house.
I covered the seat part with
throws and blankets for
comfy effect.
Once I moved here, I moved
the glider in again.
I went one day to check out
furniture and waited
till after Christmas to actually
make up my mind.

I have always wanted a sectional.
Started to get one with the chaise
on the side but decided against it.

The I looked around for a table.
I did not find anything really that
I wanted but then off to the left
of the store I noticed some
small tables.
There were three different
ones, the only difference was
the drawers. I am not a big,
matchey sort of person, I like
my tables, and lamps to be different
so I settled on just one table.

Oh my gosh, then I saw this!

Not something I set out to get,
but I wanted this bench.
So, I got this bench!
Isn't it pretty?
I love it!!

Now finally with furniture in the living
room I can decided on what I want on the walls.
I had not hung anything till I decided
on furniture.
Right now, I am waiting delivery
on a kitchen/dining table, it is due
Tuesday. I am finally
getting things done.
A UTI and the toe has slowed
me down a bit.

I sort of gravitated to
the thoughts of
blues with the gray of the house
but when I found curtains for the living
room, I went with gray and burgundy.

I bought that rug when I decided to
move here, now I am thinking it
is a tad too much gray in there so
I am going to look for something
that has burgundy in it.

I had changed up my colors in
my bedroom long before thinking of
moving to a navy and teal.
The guest room has a sage green
sort of, what I already had on hang
and the girls room (Lily and Misty),
 I hung my craftroom
curtains which is teal, peach and
pink.

Need a spread on that daybed
since my youngest grandson wants
that room when he visits, I am
trying to go with a the
teal so its not totally so
GIRLY but
I am having trouble finding
what I want. That is on
the list of things to locate.
As for now, B's (girls)
room is done.

The chest is not staying there.
I am going to redo it and give
to Evie for a toy box.
I bought that at a thrift store
when I was about 15. I think I gave
20 bucks.

Unlike Lily Bit, Misty
hangs with me more and I
tend to catch her in some
cute poses.
I love this.

Christmas Night she was just hanging out
with me, so I grabbed the big camera.
We were playing around with the
existing light in the room.

Oh my gosh, isn't she so
adorable?

I hope sweet Lily Bit adjusts. Misty River is a doll, too, as are you (!) dear Pam.

I love how it is shaping up, Pam -- and especially that fabulous bench. The cat photos are absolutely exquisite. Posing them with the lights a brilliant idea.
