Et Tu, Brute, Lily Bit, Great Potoo, and Cool Art

 Et Tu, Brute?
Caesar's last words as
he realized that his best friend,
stabbed him.

Now I am not really sure
where the Caesar Salad came from,
or if it was named after
Julius Caesar, but I stumbled upon
this pic of a salad and the
question was, can you find
Caesar in the salad?
I did find him, and every time
I look, I still have to search even
though I know where it is.

Let me know if you are
able to locate ole Julius.

Tuesday morning I enjoyed
my time with Lily.
Monday, even though I laid
around in the morn hours
she was in and out on the deck
so much that I did not get
to enjoy the rubs. I love
them as much as she does.

My sweet girl.
This is usually what I get cause
Lily Bit is not a lap cat at all.
 I continue to absorb this
type of love and keep in mind,
its a cat thing!
I will admit, this CAT thing that
cats have is hard on me,
you see, I am a cuddler, I love
to pick up my babes and love
on them. Lily lets me know
with a meow that sounds like a
NO, that she is not into that.
HAHA

I learn a lot of FB and the
internet...
ever heard of a
Great Potoo?
Neither had I.
Found in Central and South America.
Much like owls, this species is nocturnal.
It preys on large insects and small vertebrates,
which it captures in sallies from high perches.
Strange looking
critter for sure!

I also stumbled on this stuff.....
AMAZING.

Wow, the work, and patience that went
into this stuff. I love the
pencil and paper clip ones.
Neat work!

Thanks for stopping
in for a visit,
Pam

I wasn't able to find it. Did love the art. Very cool dresses/shirts. Fun stuff.

PS: Dunno if others had this issue, the first paragraph of your blog, I cannot read. All the sentences were cut and wonky. Not sure if that's my screen or not. Tossing it out there in case it's the same for everyone.

An unusual set of pictures and that bird - well!! Give Lily Bit my love. Cheers Diane

Lily and Lizzie (aka Lilibet!) are cut from the same bolt. Pet me all you like, but I'd really rather you not pick me up. The exception is when she sleeps with me and cuddles close (and, I might add, hog the bed). I'll have to return to Julius -- I didn't find him fast... but I'm game for another try!

Yes, I did find Caesar.
Interesting art work. I think I like the paperclip one best.

That is definitely a unique art form there. Definitely mixed media. Wow.

Same thing here I have a cuddler and then one that wants nothing to do with it.
Yes I did find Caesar, usually I am not good at that stuff.
Those drawings with the fancy dresses are pretty cool!

I cannot resist picking up Terra or Polly now and then but they're not fans. Oh, well, I still have the memory of holding both kittens in one of my small hands! Interesting art of those dresses. I would never have found the face of Julius without your later cheat. Those birds, however, would be an amazing sight, indeed. :D Best wishes, my dear.
