Drone Shot, Bird Names and Wood Burning Project

The evening that
Theresa
and I went to the
Governor's Residence for
the Christmas reception,
I met her on the plaza
of our building.
She was getting shots
of the Capital
with the Christmas tree.
I watched to be
sure that T kept
the drone from
heading towards buildings
and not venturing
over roads.

Here is one shot that
T got and that was
posted on the Department of
General Services FB
page.
Great shot!!

Speaking of FB, my
friend Pam
posted this.
LOL....

what names!!

Friday and Saturday
I spent the days
at home, chilling,
well, actually healing.
My mind and body was
in need of
healing.

Saturday while, laying
on the couch, doing
NOTHING,
I felt like I was
wasting a day so
I grabbed my
wood burning set and
grabbed a piece of wood
that Mark had in his truck
and told me to take
since I craft with wood.
My crafting project today
with the wood burning tools,
became a thank you
project to my
brother.

Wood burning
with white paint.
I think he will like it.

I like your wood burning. I have the tool but I've never done much with it. It wasn't quite as easy as I thought it would be.

The birds names are hilarious! People had a good sense of humour when naming them. Love the piece you created!

Those coasters keep popping up on social media. I'm sure the vendor is selling a ton of them now. Take care.

Modern language and that of past eras is a lot different. Nonetheless, people have forever been childish when it comes to body parts and functions. lol Your talents are endless. ~hugs~ I wish you healing from the inside out, my dear.
Wonderful first image ... great shot :)

My good wishes for 2023.

All the best Jan
