Spindle, Fries and the Church

I was back in the craft room
painting after I painted my
pots.

This is a spindle.
Yep, I know, it would
sort of stand out in
the house, wouldn't it?

It was painted for the garden.
I still have to seal it,
just like the pots. Then
I will drill a pole up
the bottom to insert a
rebar rod. I will then
stick it in the garden.

But colorful!

Check out the face
on my living room wall.

Okay, this should be considered
price gouging, just like gas.
No, I did not buy any of these.
Checkers has their own
brand so I tried them.
I have been buying Wally
World brand but I don't like
them so I am not buying
them anymore.

This keeps up I am going
to have to apply for food stamps.

I have to say, I have painted
a church on canvas but
I have never painted a
church in any other form.
Well, its smaller then most
churches, and it actually
holds bird seed.

Belongs to TN Tiny Weddings,
and it was in need of some love.
I brought it home, cleaned it
up as best as the mildew and
mold would allow. Primed it and
painted it. Thinking
of adding TN Tiny
Weddings to the roof of
both sides...

I will decide later.

The prices are high indeed. We buy wild bird seed for all our birds and from the last time we bought bird seed it had gone up 35%. We bought it anyway because we want the birds to eat.

Love that church. Beautiful.

Have fabulous day and weekend, Pam. Scritches to the furbabes. ♥

Now, I would enjoy having a colorful spindle in the house. I know so many people like things to be rather neutral, but give me colorful any day.
