Wedding Frame and Yard Sale Frame

When I photograph weddings
at the venue I have been
relaying on the natural
elements and the cars for
props.

But I decided it was time to
up my game. I shared the
banner I made with you a
week or so ago.

I ordered a frame that photographers
use for backdrops.
Course I am not a big fan
of color backdrops I do
prefer the natural elements
of the outdoors.
Scrolling through Pinterest I
found a cool backdrop and
that is when I decided
to order the frame.

Then it was time to get
busy and make something
like I saw.
I built this wooden
frame, all from scrapes.

I wanted to attach flowers to it
but how? That is when
a pool noodle came to mind.
A pool noodle has a hole through
the center of it that I thought
would work for what I needed.
Cut the size I wanted, then I
cut down one side to the hole
which allowed the noodle to
be opened up. I then slide
it over the wood.

My mom had a flower arrangement
that I knew would work, and since
I was not using it
for anything, I took it apart.
Sticking the ends of the flowers
through the foam of the noodles
and attaching them.

I bought the small thin board for
2.50 at Dollar General. It has
some jute to hang it by.
I painted it white, then
painted Bride and Groom on
it, placed in the correct
position. The jute hanger
goes back to the other side
of wood frame and loops
over a tack to hold it. I
did that so that I can change
the sign out for another one.
I am going to make one that
says, "guest". Other signs
can be made.

Misty wanted to be
the first to have her
pic made with the sign.

I have an up coming yard sale
this weekend. I
wanted to make it somewhat fun
so I made a poster board sign
for the
guest.
Figured they could stand
behind it and we can take
a pic with their camera.

Wow...will be glad when
May is over...
I think May has been trying
to make up for all of
last year.
I have been hopping.
I have done 5 weddings.
Three more to come, one
of which I am the photographer.
A sleep doc apt., next week an
eye doc apt. Then the end of the
month a chiro apt. I had an apt
with an accountant for taxes
( I normally do but with buying
and selling of a home, I was not
touching it). I had an hour
long massage also. This weekend
a yard sale. Starting Thursday night
with set up. In between, doing what
I needed to be doing here and once
a week to town to work.

Things can slow down some...
I would be great with that!

That was an awesome idea using the pool noodle on the frame to attach the flowers.
You sure have a lot coming up. You are one busy lady.

Very clever way to add the flowers to the frame.

I prefer the natural elements too but sometimes you need an additional option and this suits the bill perfectly. It looks great, Pam.
