Vincent Price
Was reading Rain's blog over at http://www.rainfrances.com/ and she has done a watercolor of Vincent Price. It was great. That sent me off to the web to do some reading up on ole Vincent the Man of Horror!
One of Price’s ancestors was the first white child born in Massachusetts, as he was born aboard the Mayflower when it landed in Provincetown Harbor.
Price has been awarded two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to television and film. And some actors can’t even get one!
One of Price’s last roles was in Edward Scissorhands, in which he played a mad scientist. Classic. The role was meant to be longer, but Price was suffering from health problems during shooting and had to take it easy.
Price wrote 8 books, 3 were cook books.
Price appeared in 115 movies, 39 TV shows but some of those shows he appeared on more then once, like the Red Skeleton Show. He appeared in 9 Theater shows.
Here is the home that Price lived in from 1955 till his death. It went up for sale in Aug. 2019 and was listed for 21 million. Built in the 1920's.
