Morning all....tis 10:14 am here on the deck in Hermitage TN. Weather is sunny and feels great. Temps will be picking back up a tad for the next few days but 80 degrees with no humidity is FANTASTIC! You see the worst part of TN in the summer is not the heat, its that humidity that comes along with it being summer. Anyway, it is actually Wed. here today and I am doing advanced blogs again. I really like doing my blogs each day but I have started doing them in advance as things come to me. HAHA...then I forget what I blogged about!!

Anyway today I wish to talk with Cheri from over at https://cherischatter.blogspot.com/ she commented on my pics from The Bright Place, Home of TN Tiny Weddings post the other day. Said my pics were great and she loved the Shack. Well the Shack, like I said is my fave place at the venue.

Then Cheri went on to tell me that she needs to learn to use her fancy little camera better. What type of camera do you have Cheri and what seems to be the issue you are having?
I love having a camera on my cell but there is nothing like having my fancy camera with me. Get to working with it and you will love it.

Jeanie also commented on that same post. Jeanie is over at

and she said that she could see why brides wanted to marry at Tn Tiny Weddings. It was so charming. Well Jeanie, it really is. It is also a nice place to work either as a photographer or an assistant. I have noticed that lately and even before the VIRUS that folks were pulling away from the big weddings yet did not wish to do the courthouse weddings. So this is just perfect for those type of people. They can do just themselves, add a person or two or have up to 25 folks. It is stress free, we do the work, we decorate, we set out cupcakes and drinks if that is what they want, we tend to the guest and basically all the bride and groom has to do is be there. James being a mail carrier even mails off the papers to the courthouse when the wedding is done. The event can last 30 mins to a couple of hours. They can hire me as a photographer or bring their own. Most brides bring their own flowers to carry, some don't want any. We had a woman that wanted to pick wildflowers while I took pics and she used them when they wed.

We have saved the ceremony by running back to the garage for the rings before Julie (performing the wedding), the bride or the groom even knew they were not at the alter. We have escorted the bride to the aisle and even up steps because she wore a mermaid type dress. We have fanned the bride while she waits to walk and at one point thought we would have to call 911 for a bride.

We watch kids to keep them out of the pond. She had helped little flower girls and ring bears find their mark as where to stand and when to walk. We serve toast and fill glasses. I have decorated a cake for a bride that brought it and flowers but had not put it together.

So yes....with all that said, we try our best to make the day all about the bride and the groom.

Moving on...
I think I mentioned on a post that I messed up and did not get any pinky purple Sedum from the old house. That is the one that I have been growing for over 30 yrs....oh well.
This is really only my 3rd yr to grow the rusty red...but I LOVE IT. I said in a post sometime ago that usually here in TN it blooms about two weeks before we have a cool spell. Forgot to come back and report that the rusty red does the same. It started to bloom and two weeks later we had our first cool spell. It was amazing. Anyway, took this pic yesterday cause I floored to see just how dark it is getting!
LOVE IT.

Have a wonderful day,
Pam

It's fun hearing about the weddings. I can see why it is a popular place in these Covid days. And three cheers on the lack of humidity!
It seems like there is a lot of magic at the Tiny Wedding place!

That wedding place is such a good idea. I wonder if they have anything like that in my neck of the woods.

I think that would be very rewarding work, especially since 'bridezillas' are unlikely to book a small venue. :) Thank you for sharing what all is provided. It's awesome. Be well!
I love the love shack as well.
