A Couple More Projects Done

 Yesterday I shared some projects I managed to get finished. 

I was on a roll and I continued to keep on rolling them out while I was in the mood. I got my Halloween porch board painted. 


Started by drawing it off the way I wanted it. Then I white washed the board. I then started to paint. Thought I was done when I got this one painted......
BUT 
NO..
I had already drawn off  my Thanksgiving porch decor on the flip side of this board. 


White washed that side also and started painting it. 


All DONE....
with the painting anyway. I have to cut the top of the board off then I will need to seal both sides. Once Halloween is done, I will flip the board around and be ready for Thanksgiving. Not doing one for Christmas cause I actually bought a metal one after Christmas last yr.

I am surprised Halloween is even thought of this year with COVID around. Having said that, Halloween does not exist here where we live anyway, Stay safe Diane

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Another Chilling Day - Brothers HOuse

House/dog/bird sitting at my brothers house.  Of course this was Lily's first trip there. Dakota  has house sat with me many times.  Lily was not too sure what to think about Ms. Lola. She loves the ledge at the large windows! My brother has some really pretty sunflowers.....all about to give it up for the summer. Wasp drinking from the hummingbird feeder.
