Sedum / Bold / Paint Class

~SEDUM~

I tell everyone that
I share some of this
plant with that when it
blooms in the fall, then
in 2 to 3 weeks, we will
have our first cool spell!

Yesterday was that cool spell, following
today. I have watched this yr after yr
and it does turn cool between
2 to 3 weeks after it is fully bloomed.

Yesterday I sent a pic of my out
fit to my daughter. She came back
with it was a bit too bold.

See the look on my face...I don't care!

The other day for conducting paint
class for Lisa's bday Julie
gave me this scarf.

Now to find something to wear with
it.

Julie is always giving to me, she
has the biggest of hearts.
So I wanted to return that
a bit. I made her a set of
Pumpkins last week and
she had them all set out
for painting class the other
night.

For those that missed my blog
on me instructing a paint class
for Lisa's bday, here is one of
the pics the folks had to choose
from.

And here is the second one.

I always paint up samples for
the group to look at and that
gives me the time to walk
around and help them out.

As always, there is always
food at the Bright Place.

Image may contain: one or more people, people sitting, table, food and indoor

Always....YUMMY.

Then the folks sit and start getting
to work.

That is Julie with the color headband,
wearing the teal color shirt is my
sis in law, Kim and the other
lady is my other sis in law Lori.

Next table consist of Lisa there on the end,
next to her is Aric and across from
them is Aric's better half, Krystal.

Everyone is so into painting.

Even James (Julies hubby) and Wayne (Julies brother).
Only they are working on the wedding
sign that goes at the end
of the driveway when a wedding
is taking place.

I tell my painters to make the painting
their own. Don't copy what I have done
but get ideas or add their own touch.
Lisa in the above pic did just that.
She put the trees off to the side,
put clouds in front of the moon..
and later added a cat and bat.

 Here is Lori's finished product.

And the silly group
showing off their work.
Some folks were not all done
but we wanted a pic of us all
before others started to leave.

Image may contain: 7 people, people smiling, people standing

James is taking the pic and
Wayne is holding my other
painting. Great job Wayne.

Lori and Kim headed out
and the others cont. to work.
So of course we had
to get another pic of the
work once the others were
done.

James is getting the picture taking
selfie thingy down pat!

HAHA...
Great night. Thanks to all that
came out and painted for
Lisa's bday.

I, too, am so happy to see guys doing this! I went alone to one of those Pinot's Palette shops for a class and was surrounded by groups and couples of all women. Going solo didn't bother me much, though I sensed a little confusion from the others. Whatever... The instructor didn't encourage individual creativity, either, so I'd rather attend one of your classes. Everyone with you created fantastic art. Well done, all! Are any for sale? ~grin~ Stay bold, my dear!
