Blogging to Stop

Good morning all,

With all I have going on in
my life I have
decided to not blog anymore.

APRIL FOOLS!

Can't get rid of me that easy.

Driving home from feeding the
other day I saw this site.

Isn't that so pretty?

After posting on FB and a friend
asking what this was called, another
friend jumped in and helped me
with that question~
this is
Nashville Mustard.
Apparently it does not grow in
many areas but we are lucky
to have this site.

That beautiful yellow brings me
to the thought of plants.
Here are some cute planters
pulled from the internet.

I have done the one below before.

What is the law concerning
plastic bags where you live?

In California or at least in
San Diego area you pay extra
for a plastic bag if you don't have
your own totes.

Here in TN there is a debate on how
to handle the bags.
Shall the cities be in charge
or the state?
Personally, I think state.
If the cities handle the plastic
bag debate then it might vary in
each city. But if the state handles
it they can ban these in the whole
state. No questions as to use in
different areas.

This also brings me to my next
question~
do you recycle?

I am glad you aren't leaving us Pam! The Nashville Mustard is stunning! I will have to show the cement hands idea to my husband. They make cool planters. We have been thinking about stacked pots for herbs.

I have to look up the plastic bag laws since we live in a new state now. There are plastic bags everywhere here though so I think they are behind on this. Recycling is included every other week with our trash pickup. We also use a composting barrel for all our food scraps. The plants love that!

We have to recycle in my city. Garbage is picked up every 2nd week, recycle and compostables every week. Good April Fool's trick!

My first April Fool of the day. Glad is wasn't true.

You can still get plastic bags here if you pay for them. We don't use them. We have cloth bags that we use for our purchases. It's a better way.

Yes we recycle.

Have a fabulous day. ♥

Actually, my state of New York, actually is going to do something wise, for a change. Ban plastic grocery bags!

The capital and down state (NYC), are wildly Liberal and are always making "winky-wonky" laws and rules and etc. But this time, they got it right!!!!

I loath plastic bags. Prefer paper. Prefer mostly, to bring my own bags! Duhhhhhh.....

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
You sure got me with that one, it's been happening a lot today!

Our plastic bags at the market are still free, which makes it really easy to forget to bring your own bags. While it's convenient and I certainly use them more than once to hold returnables and cat litter and such, I sort of wish we had to pay for them and I might be more diligent.
Loving all the things you have shared! I love fresh ideas and always hoping they will inspire some inspiration in me! LOL! Pam...I didn't even think about today being April's fools! LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

We went to our recycling plant a few weeks back, very impressive. Almost everything is recyclable. Our rubbish is almost non-existent. France has banned all plastic that is not recyclable eg plates etc. We have always had to take our own bags shopping here since the day we moved to France in 2005, presumably it was the same for a number of years before that.
Happy recycling Diane

Glad you aren't giving up blogging.
Here in Pennsylvania we still use plastic bags

It's a plastic bag ban for all of California. My city (Long Beach) did the ban a couple years earlier than the whole state, so when it went to the whole state, I was already in the habit of bringing my own bags. Actually, I had started doing that a couple years prior to the law. It's irksome, but you get used to it.

:) Very funny. I use cloth bags for shopping here when possible.

I didn't know CA (or any state) had laws about plastic bags...but I sure think it's a good idea. I gather up all ours & then return to a recycling bin at WalMart since we don't have recycling in our small town (unfortunately). I would really like to recycle but would have to save it all up and then make a trip to a bigger town/city...guess I'm too lazy for that! So sad that all communities don't offer a way to recycle. Your post does remind me though to use some of these reusable shopping bags I have around here.

I was sitting here reading and thinking to myself Noooooo Pam is quiting blogging?! I'm glad this was only an April fools joke! Wishing you a wonderful April Pam!

That's a good April Fool's joke, Pam. Yes, here in California, we have to pay a dime for bags now. I don't like it. I don't recycle, but was just talking with my son and he knows a guy who recycles and makes a lot of money each month by doing so.

I hope you are feeling well, Pam.
