The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. I picked up some healing stones there.  Entering the store I read this sign... haha Then while in there I saw this sign. From there I headed to see  Kelley, my hair stylist. This is what I was shooting for. Course, it will look different on  me due to hair color and  texture of hair.  I am good with it. Wheel Barrel Flowers

I have never been this slow at getting plants out and beds made. I have looked at this wheelbarrow in the front yard with sticks from the mums that did not make it sticking up out of the dirt for weeks.... But last night I took care of that. Impatiens.....hoping they will grow and spread out nicely. It looks better anyway. Thanks for stopping in, Pam

Birds in the Yard

 Hello friends. This morning Dakota and I sat out on the deck, it was a nice 71 cool degrees after a night of storms and rain. The birds were singing and flying around and it was so peaceful. In the pic above I am standing on the deck looking into my Crepe Myrtle at the bird house I hung a couple months ago. I had been sitting there listening to this one bird that I was not sure what it was and was not sure where it was coming from. Then I saw her, on the branch next to the bird house and she was loud! She would speak out and another bird, same talk as her would speak up from in the trees on the creek. I then realized where that noise was coming from....her and him. Then I realized why. She flew from branch to branch checking things out before flying onto the bird house. And then I realized I heard babies too. I watched him and her do this for a long time. Such a pleasure.
