The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. I picked up some healing stones there.  Entering the store I read this sign... haha Then while in there I saw this sign. From there I headed to see  Kelley, my hair stylist. Coffee Table Redo

Morning all. Couple weeks ago I found this at a neighbors home put out on the side of the  road. Loaded it up in my Prius. It was heavy and LONG.  Standing it up next to me it comes to my shoulders and I am 5'2. My daughter Amber had told me just that week that she needed a coffee table. I think it was meant to be! Basic maple with a traditional  look and a formica top. that you can't do much with. So after checking with my daughter to be sure size would not be a problem I got to work. I built a frame. My thoughts were that if I made a frame and attached wood to that I could slip it right over the top of the existing table top.  Oops....forgot a step... before making the frame I spray painted the base in an ivory color.  Now with that step added in I  move on to what it looks like with the wood attached  to my frame. Playing Around with the Camera

Its been a while since I played with water.... photographing water that  is.  Not pleased with what I  turned out but.... I played anyway. Went home today to piddle at my house but once I got back I  took the camera out around the yard here at my brothers and got some cool pics... then I came in and played a bit with dried fruit. And not so dried!  haha Decided to play with Lori's perfume bottles again. Love this shot up against the  tile. We had a couple of good little storms move in today.
