Helpful Hints~~

On the box of a roll of plastic wrap or
aluminum foil there are two tabs.
One on each end. If you push those
in your roll will stay within the box
without slipping out. Makes for the
removal of the item a lot easier. I did
not know this one until about a year
ago when I read it in an email! Who s
ays that emails can’t be full of knowledge!
I have tried this since reading that and
YES, it works.

Peroxide will remove blood from an
article of clothing. I know this one from
taking my dog (fell out of the car) to the
vet with a white shirt on. The tech at
the vet told me about it. So when I went
home, I tried it and it worked great. I
still wear that shirt. I would not
recommend putting it on color but
for whites it works great.

I found, by accident that the Mr. Clean
Magic Eraser’s are great! I have tried
the Easy Off brand and I did not care
for them as well as Mr. Cleans. They
will take rust from the bottom of a
white plate (left sitting in a cast iron
skillet with a touch of water in it…yes,
I know this is not good to do), clean
stains from the sink and cabinets with
such ease. I love these things.

I use to be a pine sol user. Swore by
that stuff, love the clean smell too.
But a few years ago I found Mr. Clean
Citrus Smell cleaner. I can’t say it cleans
any better then any other cleaner…..but
oh I love that smell. You can clean with
it, leave the house and when you return
that citrus smell meets you as you enter
the room.

Did you know that if you boil eggs and
crack them and sit them in a pan of cold
water for 10 minutes or so that the shell
will peel off so much better? I have
always done this, but recently I found
that if you boil them and sit them in
the fridge for a while they come off even
better. I am into making life a bit easier
and if I am shelling eggs that I want to
present as stuffed eggs later, I like them
to be nice looking.

Okay…these are all I can come up with
for now. Maybe as I think of this stuff
I will post more helpful hints…..

Or maybe you could leave a comment
to tell me one or more of your helpful
hints….like I said, I am into easy!

Thanks,
Pam

Yes, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the greatest invention since... dirt?

:-)

Great hints -- I will try the fridge and egg one tomorrow, for my hubby's egg salad. Thanks!

Hi Pam, so nice to meet you, and thanks for coming by my blog and joining up for the give-away! I've been reading back thru your last few posts and let me tell you I feel for you with back pain. I went thru a time of that and it was horrible. I've had some major health issues myself, and it gets tough sometimes when you hit the 50 mark.
I love hearing your office shenanigans and the "three witches" are just too cute!
Take care, come back for a visit soon. Debra
