It's All About the Color

My brother and sis in law
took mom and me out to
lunch today.

It was really sweet of him.

On the way home mom
and I ran to Kohl's.

I was surprised at the fall
colors for men!
Loving these colors.




Would much rather seen a man in these
popping colors then a man in 
rompers 
or laced shorts!
Agree?

My sis in law Kim made
sure that she ordered a pic for
me of my niece Holly
from her May graduation 
from UT Knoxville. 

I have supported Holly through
everything she has done and 
I have not missed much.
She is a great kid...oops...
young woman of 22.


I have a project going....
waiting on paint to dry...
but it started out like this!


My mom got this years ago at a yard
sale, I held onto it for the frame.

Now, hold your breath till I am done
and show you the finished product.

Crap, I meant to tell you that Tilly is doing great. You're so kind to ask about my cat, the least I can do is answer here. I just wish she would stop trashing the water bowls with litter between her toes. I worry about her and Jezebel getting fresh drinking water before I have time to refresh the nasty boels.

I am with you on the rompers and lace. no no no... I have seen a few of these colorful shirts on the talking heads on TV in the past few weeks. now I know why.

I like the different colored shirts but I know for a fact my husband wouldn't wear most of them. You rarely see him in anything other than a pocket t-shirt or tank. I agree the shirts are way better than the other options...lol

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Done Deal, Fall Color, Paint Class, New Man, Treat, and Soup, Cats and Broom

Well, what was I thinking? HAHA After laying on my couch in so much pain all summer, I knew moving closer to  Amber was the thing to do, The timing of finding my dream home was off. However, Two days of Open House and I have a contract. Selling as is, minor repairs.  Inspection to be done after  the work in the  den and BR is done. The process of getting here while just a couple of weeks of healing was a challenge. My daughter was a big  help weekend before  last. I just collect to many projects that I  never get around to and that has to stop. I have to say, last time  was easier, I had moved into my childhood home before I sold the other, so it was empty when sold. EASIER. I hate moving so close to Christmas but it is  what it is. Fall seems to have made it to us the past week. I am surprised, we were losing so many leaves due to no rain,  glad to have some color. Hot Water Heater Mishaps

 As I stated the hot water heater sprung a leak, from the bottom.  My younger brother came to help  with the issue. Problem, the  value at the bottom where you screw in  the hose to drain the tank, was  all clogged up.  It sets so close to the bottom  that it is hard to slip a  bucket under to catch water if we were to get the clog undone. There was no moving it till water was drained off the tank. We opened the top value, and leaned it over to drain into buckets. I have a great big  plastic tub, like this one. We filled it by leaning the  hot water heater over. Finally got enough off to be able to slid onto the two wheeler  and move out of the garage. Once we had it there,  we lowered it to the ground and let it finish with the drain. Mark went to Lowes and got another one, installed it and  had me up and running. The damage had been done though. With the unit on the  other side of the BR, water came under the wall and flooded the BR,  and the carpet in the den.  Yes, the same two roo
