Been trying something new the last couple nights,  pour paint. On my rocks I just squirted some out and continued to add to the top of that letting it slide off the rock. Then I took the other end of the  paint brush and moved paint around. Pretty neat. Then I painted this one to leave at the beach. So I have been seeing pour paint on the internet and talk shows, thought I would give it a try. Pretty cool.... I squirt a paint color in a small disposable  cup and add a little water to "water" it down and make it runny. Mix that up and then I add another color on top of that and continue with those steps, except with the black and white one (2 colors). Put the canvas over the cup and  dump it. Before pulling the cup away, move it around on the canvas, then pick the cup up. I tilt the  project around and around letting the paint move to cover all areas. I kind of like...

Another laundry room sign. I love the humor is stuff like this.   Here is another sign I love!   And next week I will be heading to the  beach for a few days and I will be wearing my flops! Talking about summery shoes,  I got these yesterday. $8 bucks, Bobbie Brooks. Love them. Yep, they will go to the beach with me. We are actually taking two cars to Fla. Two boys will ride with Amber and Will and two will  ride with me.  I am going to fix all the boys a bag of treats to veg on while in the car. I also got them some drinks that you  just stick the straw in the pouch.  But I thought I would carry these also. They are Kroger creamer containers  with lids! Straws, the boys will be set! I know it has been a while since I "rocked" somewhere. But I have been doing it a bit the last couple of weeks. I found a sign on FB about laundry the other day so then I went on PINTEREST (which I love) to find others. They are just so cute. haha..love this. Old beat up classic. The other day (Thursday) it was pretty, sunny, cool breeze and I grabbed my camera and headed to the farm (Chris house where Misfire lives). Be between winter, Fibro, and life I  have not been picking up my Nikon  as much as I used to but when I have  a few times lately I love it. I love the feel of that camera in  my hand. Just a wildflower that grows in  the yard can make an awesome pic.  This is the cat that was dropped a few months back  at the barn. I named her Brandau, that is the name of the road she was dropped off on.  I see beauty in the usual shots. After messing around a bit I headed to the pasture. Lily and Misfire in the background. I wished I had a laundry room and  not a laundry closet I would have it decorative so cute....loving the signs. Usually you would not be able to go back 20 years and tell about a certain day that long ago. But, for April 16, 1998 I can tell you about that day in Nashville. The day started off rocky.  Listening to the  news, and watching the weather I decided to go into work late and almost decided to not send my kids to school.  There were storms all over west TN with one tornado after another hitting on  its route to Middle TN.  I finally headed out to work. Parking in the employee parking lot a few blocks from where I worked. Weather was still iffy.  I entered the basement of the Andrew Jackson Bldg.
