My brother has one that 
belonged to my dad, my younger
brother has it now. It is black and 
HEAVY.



I don't know what it is,
but I love old things that 
are used in other ways.
Love the repurposing and reusing.

So neat.


Amber had one of these only
it was made to look like
a horse.
Wow, that was 45 yrs ago.

I am pretty sure I have some old
pieces with that pattern on them. 



This mantle had the pearls 
hanging off it, which I think 
is cool. I love doing things like that.

My thoughts for a while have
been to hang a ladder in the kitchen
to decorate something like this.

I will have to make the ladder
however, as nice as old ladders
are, I can't afford to put that kind
of money out to hang in the kitchen.

Cool, this was made of 
a dollar store trash basket, wood
cut to size and a drawer pull.

I had NO CLUE
what this was in the pic below so
I had to read the tag on it.


That was an interesting piece.

Planning on making
some of those angels.



Oh, the time I spent looking
through one of these.


I have always liked old doors.


I did purchase a few items.
A couple of saws to paint on.

Were marked five each but 
were on sale for three each.
Yes, I will be painting over
rust and all, then sealing it 
to stay that way.

Which reminds me, I have a few 
round saw blades to paint on 
that I need to get done.

And for a buck each I 
got these cute cat
cooker cutters. 

Speaking of which, I had
a great day minus neck,
shoulder and head pain 
on Monday. Painting is 
the issue for sure, I have 
tested that theory and I 
right. But with that said, 
we have (hopefully) rain moving
in and with the barometric pressure
it is not playing so nice with 
the whole body, neck included. 
Meds are improving the
"MOOD"
some, I have moved from 
the bedroom to the living 
room but I still have no ump,
energy or get up and go....
I get a few things done in 
small spurts.
With that said, it has take 
a week to get all the pieces
that needed sealing, sealed.
Even got ribbons added 
to a few. 

Mine is sealed, ribbon
added and it is hanging on 
the front door. 

At the end of the month
I will add the new fall decor.

OH SHI I MEAN, CRAP! I had a whole post written up,  right at the end, went to delete something and  BAM, there it all went! So, here I go again. I had a couple of big, out  loud laughs Monday night. It started with Misty. I had cut the yard and when I  was done, I wanted a bubble bath and I was joined by Misty. She sat on the rug outside the  tub doing what she does best, watching me. I scooped up some bubbles and blew them, inside the tub.  That got here attention so I  did it again but this time I was  blowing towards her, only it hit her on the top of the head.  MEOW is what I heard and she ran to the bedroom rubbing her head with her paw. The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. I picked up some healing stones there.  Entering the store I read this sign... haha Then while in there I saw this sign. From there I headed to see  Kelley, my hair stylist. This is what I was shooting for. Course, it will look different on  me due to hair color and  texture of hair.  I am good with it. Forgotten, Old, Square, Coffee and Parada

The other day I mentioned that I  left the house early and  stayed gone for hours, with my  camera. Going to try and work on  my "Forgotten in Hickman Co." album on FB. It is sort of overwhelming that there is so much abandoned  property in this county.  The pic above is on  the main strip and I think it maybe was once a store, or  a place to eat. While I was riding around the county seat of my county, I saw this amazing home. And this one. Centerville has some really old homes. The town was  established in 1823. and in 2020 the population     was 3,489. There is no growth in  this county, the county seat wants to keep it that way.  The town square has more vacant buildings then ones that have something in them.
