Hottest July, BER Months, Rocks and Paint,

Here it is Friday already, at
least while I type this post out
it is.

I was sitting back scrolling FB,
relaxing and doing basically what
I did all day, NOTHING.
I ran across this, posted
by a news announcer of WSMV.

July 2025 was….
✅ Nashville’s hottest July ever
✅ 3rd hottest month ever in Nashville

Then as I continued to scroll,
I saw this put out by the
weather man on the channel
I watch all the time.

The 90° streak is over!
After 30 consecutive days with a high of at least 90°, Nashville’s high for today was just 83°!
Humidity levels will continue to fall this evening & tonight!

So, today is the first day of
August, and our temps are
amazing. I hope all of August
was like today.
Personally, I am ready for
the BER months!

I have been doing some
painting....
on rocks.
Sort of on a roll.

This one below, I made
for my brother Mark.
A couple years ago he
gave me a rock, shaped
like a piece of pie. He told
me at the time that if I can do
this with just a piece of
board out of his truck.

Then he knew I could
do something cool with
that rock. Well, I finally
got around to painting
that rock for him.

Cherry pie anyone?

Oops, I started this post
earlier today and right in
the middle, I went out to
do something!!
I weed whacked the yard.
Temps were great, wind was
blowing and I did not
even break a sweat.
But holding that weeder up
wears me out. I just don't
have the strength I used to
have.
But, I had to let  you know,
I ended up doing
something!!

Have a great weekend,
Pam

Love all your painted rocks. That piece of pie is really cool. Love the wood piece too. Is that wood burning?
It's been cooler here in the evenings. I even had to close my windows at night.

We had the same heat but it's cooled down-- a little TOO much for my taste but I don't get to choose!

Very cool cherry pie rock. I'm sure your brother will appreciate it.
Your Rock n' Roll is very cool indeed!
Your painted rocks are beautiful.
Very hot here as well, just the time for leisurely activities, I like your painted rock idea.
