I'm BACK, Lily, Misty, Insects, and Blooms
Hello,
Hello,
Hello.....
Have I been gone long
enough for you all
to miss me yet?
OR
should I take some
more time away?
HAHA...
sorry
for the absence, but,
I will not blog on my
phone, I have to have
a keyboard and a
BIG screen to view
it on and I was without
my laptop. You see,
about a yr ago or
so, I knocked the
laptop off the couch
and although it held
up all that time,
it was struggling.
It was struggling to
keep its lid in tack!
I messed up the flip
top, and it was barely
holding on by one side.
About two weeks ago the
other side sort of just
decided to give up.
BUT, I am back now.
New laptop. I also have
a bunch of stuff to blog
about, so lets get
start, shall we.
I just looked back on
what my last post said so
not to repeat again, and
let me just say, the outside
work is still at a standstill.
It's just been way to hot for
me to be out.
For those of you that
might have been having
fur baby withdrawals, here
are a couple of pics
of Lily.
Here she is on one
rare morning that she
nestled behind my knees
and took it easy.
Course, the head is
her special place for rubbing.
She loves it.
Misty River also.
There is no tucking behind
my knees for this girl
she loves to snuggle
too much.
Moving on to some
little insects.
This big insect was
dead when I found him.
Cicada.
to have issues flying.
Every time I walk over near
the edge of the driveway,
where the flowerbed is, he
takes off flying just a
short distance, near far
though. But the thing is,
he is always there.
Here in TN we have
been hitting the mid to high
90's. My flowers are taking
a beating. No matter how
much you water, it is not
the same as rain water.
I have lost several
already.
But my zinnias have
done well.
Marigolds up at the
mailbox have done great.
And I am really pleased
with my Hydrangea.
Those light green leaves
are new, put on since I put
this in the ground the
week after mom's day.
I took this pic two weeks
ago of my sedum.
This stuff normally don't
bloom till right before fall.
I don't understand it, so hot,
humid and dry and my sedum
is in bloom.
Now, time to share a flower
in bloom with an
insect on it.
HAHA
knocked out two with
one shot.
This post could go on
and on, but I shall close
for now.
Hoping all is well with
each and everyone of
you.
Pam
