Beach House, Storms

YES!
YES!
I would so love this,
even without seeing the
inside. Would be the best
craft/paint hut.
Even the color is great!

Wed. evening sitting here
watching the storms moving
./in and flying out. Started
earlier than weather folks
were prepared for cause the temps
got so warm and we started
having pop up storms
and tornadoes long before
the big line comes in.
Going to be a long,
long night. The big
line is supposed to be here
around 2am, Amber is packing,
her the boys and the dog will
be here to stay the night.
Bless her heart, I know she
used to be scared to pieces
in that trailer before mom
moved here.

On that note, Braden had
a ballgame and hour away today.
I was going to take him and I
was sitting at the school when Amber
called to say, go home. He fell
at school and hurt his wrist, they
had been icing it but it was
swollen. I am sorry about the
wrist, but thankful for not
going to the game. A
tornado was spotted not far
from the field and the game
was called.
Thank you B!

The above part of the post
was written yesterday, I am
back today to finish it off.
But before doing that,
I want to check in
with any of y'all that
might have been in the
line of this mess.
Hoping all are good.

We made it through the storms.
It was a sleepless wicked night all
up the state of TN.
PLEASE excuse my
pics, for photographer,
sometimes they suck.

Rain coming down really
hard after the tornado
warning in my area played
out.
I finally had enough water around
during daylight to check my
reroute effort...
yep, it did not work, either
that or there was just way
too much rain last night.

Yep, gotta stop shooting through
the screen on the deck,
haha, I had one tree in the
"FOREST" that snapped.
For the first time here, rain
came in on the deck, just
enough to wet one end of the
daybed. But, we are all fine
here.

At 11:30 last night I had
a line of folks coming in
the door. Amber, Will,
three boys and a dog came
to hang out. Tonight, if this
continues I am bringing in
the blow up and the mattress
from the day bed. Snacks and
drinks for them all.
I am so unprepared for
a house full.

One to two inches of rain
per hour
expected today,
Yikes. Glad that I
did not have my load
of dirt brought in before
all this.

So sad.
Since it has let up and
not raining, I think
I will go and dig on my
stream.....maybe,
maybe not?

LOL..
Pam

So glad that you made it through the storm ok and that Amber and her family had a safe place to go.
Sorry to hear about Braden's wrist. I hope it isn't too bad

So glad to hear all is well with you. Tornados bring such tragedy!

I'm so glad Amber and company could come shelter with you -- being together is so much better. We're getting the rain too, though today is good (more expected). We sheltered in the basement a few days ago for tornado warnings. The weird weather is everywhere. I hope you all stay safe.
