Daffodil in Bloom, Crochet Afghan-DONE, and the Towel Bar

Just the day before I took
this pic, these flowers were just
tight little blooms.

As I mentioned before, I messed
up the afghan I was working on and
ended up ripping ALOT out.

Working here and there, while I
took advantage of rear sitting,
I have managed to finish it.
All left to finish it off is
where the colors tie together.
I will work on that
at another point. But for now,
I am done with the stitching.

Even put a border around it.

This shot makes the yarn
look so soft.

The finished product.
Misty had to be sure it
was done.
This is for Big Brayden and Hannah
for part of their Christmas.

Saturday was a day of storms, all
gloomy and yucky looking. My
plan, really no different than
every day the past month, movies.
Amber's boys were at their dads,
Will had two of his boys at the
house, so Amber came and
vegged with me for five
or so hours. I threw some
burgers in the air fryer along
with hashbrowns and that is
what we had for lunch.
Pretty tasty. I have not cooked
much in my air fryer but it
cooked the burgers up nicely.

Amber was in need of a
new towel bar in
the hall bathroom, so
I made her one.
Course, this took almost
three weeks to make.
Can't seem to find my
ump to get anything done.

Anyway, I just have to
go and hang it for her.
Love her, but unlike her mom,
she did not get my talents for
doing things.

Do you like afghan's in one or
two colors? Or multi colors like
the ones I make?
You know, I can't do just a board
and hooks, I had to do several
short boards and stagger them!

The blanket came out nice. I have crocheted anything that big in a very long time.
Cool looking towel rack

Any project that's going to have lots of yarn ends gets those ends wound in as I go. I'm not a fan of winding in ends, so I try to do as little of it as possible.
Your afghan is sure pretty and so is your precious helper!

You deserve to rest, though I know it's not easy for you. ~hugs~ That towel bar is awesome, as are all your crafting efforts. I wish you all the best, my dear.
That's exciting to have a flower blooming already! I have never been an Afghan maker, but it sure looks like a lot of work. Especially when you have to rip some out!

Love the afghan. Love the multi-colours, like one my husband’s grandmother made for him.
