Coffee and Head Rubs, Girls Chilling, and A View out the Window

 Morning starts off so good
with head rubs!
Lily loves it.

Wed. mornings, so calm
at the home. 

Misty was so calm, she
was yawning.

Later in the day I laid
down to nap, and I had company.

 
Misty laid on my side and 
snuggle while she slept
for over 30 mins. 

It was a yucky, rainy,
cloudy day and snuggling
seemed to be the best 
thing to do.

Today, Thursday morning
is a bright and sunny day,
but cold right now.
Today's high, 50 degrees. 




The sun sure feels good on 
the body.
Garb some if you can.

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Birds in the Yard

 Hello friends. This morning Dakota and I sat out on the deck, it was a nice 71 cool degrees after a night of storms and rain. The birds were singing and flying around and it was so peaceful. In the pic above I am standing on the deck looking into my Crepe Myrtle at the bird house I hung a couple months ago. I had been sitting there listening to this one bird that I was not sure what it was and was not sure where it was coming from. Then I saw her, on the branch next to the bird house and she was loud! She would speak out and another bird, same talk as her would speak up from in the trees on the creek. I then realized where that noise was coming from....her and him. Then I realized why. She flew from branch to branch checking things out before flying onto the bird house. And then I realized I heard babies too. I watched him and her do this for a long time. Such a pleasure. True Story Tuesday - The Temper

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago… I had a temper! A bad one. It’s funny to think about now and to tell people since I am so not like I was back then. Now, I pretty much let things roll off my back. I get upset, I get ticked but I don’t blow like I use to. I use to say I was like a volcano, I let things build, and build then I blew… and it was not pretty either. There were doors that were ripped off the hinges because my child locked a door on me, there were holes put in the wall by my fist because I rather patch that then hit someone. I threw knifes (and not in the circus), I picked up kitchen chairs and threw them, phones ….just what ever was there that was handy. I also let other people decide my mood. Someone would pick at me, say something I did not like and I felt I had to have to last word ( I come by the last word thing honestly)…now I just figure its not worth it and I walk away.
