Weather Tech Commerical and Charging Stations

commercial for Weathertech?
I love it.
It was shown first during the
Super Bowl.

I have two pics that I have
been asked to paint.
I have a charging station in
the works for my kitchen counter.
I had another charging station in
the works but I managed to
finish it up today. Not getting
much done.
My SIL gave me this cool box.
It contained a bottle of wine.
I would have kept the box looking
as is, if the thought of
a charging station had not
come to mind.
I wanted to make the box
for Amber's house since there
are always so many there, using
phones.
Here is the inside of the box.
It did have two thin pieces of
wood that the bottled laid on.
I removed them.
Here is the finished box.
My thoughts were paint the box,
but that would require sanding
and priming cause of the finish that
was on it. I was not sure I wanted to
get into all that.
So instead, I covered the box with
scrap book paper.
I attached a surge protector
in the top of the box. Bought
the plugs for it. Sent the
cord out the back where I
drilled a hole for it.
Amber can get her own
cords to go in the plugs since
some have iphones and some
have others. The phones will
stand up in the box when charging
and she
can close the box when not
in uses. Not the neatest of
jobs but it will do for the
first one.
Mine is a different type of
box and I have yet to decide
how I want to finish it off.
With Amber's I Hodge Podge
the paper on it, and it might
not hold up long, we will see.
I might just paint mine. Yes, its
only me here so what do I
really need with a charging
station, I have acquired several
different types of SUB charging
cat toys. Having a certain spot
for plugs and cords just seemed
best for me.
