Through the Window, Red Headed Finch, Ice Drops, Misty and Purrs

I was laying in the bed
yesterday and looked
over to see the sun coming
through the window and
through the openings of the bags.
I thought it looked cool and
since the phone/camera
was laying there, I snapped this
pic.

I keep the curtains and blinds
behind the dresser open
for the girls. They
get up on the dresser and
look out. When I walked through
the room and looked out
the window I saw this

Isn't he pretty?
He is a finch.

When I looked out the
window, I also noticed
my rain chain.

So funny how moving
water can freeze in mid
drop!

So wicked looking.

I know I have expressed my
disappointment in our
health care system so much
in the last couple of years,
since COVID. Shortage of
nurses, docs and even office
staff makes life hard on
the patients. I went to a new
lung/sleep doc in June since I
did not wish to make the drive
back to my stomping grounds.
I signed papers to allow
them to get my old records
from the other doc.
First visit went well but
due to being on stay
awake meds I have to visit
him every six months. I went
back over a week ago for my
six month and since going on
Medicare, I learned this med was going
to cost me more a month. I elected
to change to another
med that would cost less.
This med I had also been on but
could not remember the mg. I
was on. Not remembering the
mg. we started at the
lowest. It is not working
to keep me awake. I am
sleeping six to eight hours
during the day. I called the office
on Tuesday to have a change
made, doc was out. Next
day we had snow. I waited
till Thursday afternoon to call
again, leaving a message on the nurses
answering machine. They are
not open on Friday.
Of course, I heard nothing
back from the nurse. I had explained
how much I was sleeping and the
day before I slept over 24 hours.
I am pissed. All it requires
is a call back.
With all that explained,
let me also say, they have my
records, the info needed is in
there...
I tell this so that I
can say, I have done
a lot of laying around and
sleeping the past week.
 I woke the other
day and saw this.

Startling site!
One or the other girls
have been with me, trading
places and staying with
me through this whole
week. But waking me
like this can startle and
unnerve you a bit.

I am sure if you have cats
or have ever had, you have
heard that a cats purr
is healing.
I saw this and I love it.

I think I need all
the sweet babes over
at Brian's Home blog to come
and lay on me with my two
and PURR, PURR,
PURR!

Are you in need
of purrs?
Pam
