Fake Spring, Misty, Lily, Sealing, Trash Bin, Valentine Day, Yoda and Princess Leia

Happiest day
after
the
day!

Our fake spring has bounced
back to winter again!

Actually, as the years
in past, winter has not been
to bad. I remember as a child
and teen, we used to have
CoLd
winters. Cold and
snow.

Woke around 3am this
morning to the skies
rocking and rolling.
Thunder boomers that
shake the house.
They don't seem to
bother the girls but
when I had Dakota,
my bed would have been
shaking, with his
shaking. That boy hated
storms.

Misty usually lays in a ball
but the other evening on the
couch, she was doing
some stretching and wiggling.

Stretching and hanging off
the couch.

Thursday when Lily was
hanging with me on
the couch I snapped
a few other pics.

Sweet girls. I love
them so much.

I finally picked up some
polycrylic for sealing
painted stuff.
I have five coats of
it on the rocks. I will
also have a few more on
them before I give
Ray and Lori theirs.

I will put a couple more
on my rock before I put
it outside.

haha...I saw this on FB and
laughed out loud.
Growing up, my brothers and
I picked on each other.
Ray used to be the worst
of the pickers. He used to tell
Mark, the youngest of us,
that we got him out of a trash
bin. So, like I said, when
I saw this....
I busted out laughing!

Course Mark is a tad older
than 25 now, as we all are.

By the time you read this,
Friday will have come and gone,
Valentines Day

and my

I have been feeling all of those
years the past six years.
Getting old really
does suck. Getting
old with chronic pain issue
is totally uncalled for.

Yoda UPDATE..
In honor of Yoda,
there was a total of $15,000
raised for the True Rescue, and
on top of that, Mike and his
wife adopted a beautiful
girl. Her name is
Princess Leia.

Here is what Mike had to say~

She was dumped on New Year’s Eve in Hermitage soon after giving birth to five adorable kittens. It was during a bitter cold spell with single-digit temperatures, yet she miraculously managed to keep each of her babies alive.
Amy Head Simcik, Kristin Condit and the folks at True Rescue were alerted by someone who spotted Leia and her babies in a cubbyhole she had created and rushed to save them before the family had to endure another brutal night they may not have survived.
I first saw the kittens at True Rescue and was particularly interested in adopting a male in the bunch who reminded me of Yoda. That was on a Saturday. When I returned, however, a few days later all five of the precious kittens had been adopted.
Leia, whom I still had not seen, was undergoing her spay process and not yet available for adoption at the time.
When I visited True Rescue this past Sunday it was Leia’s first day out and I instantly fell in love with her. She came up to me bouncing on her hind legs demanding I rub her neck and boldly chatting non-stop - “meow this” and “meow that.”
She was full of personality and, of course, resembled Yoda especially with her expressive green/gold eyes.
You guys named Yoda so I’m leaving it up to you to give Leia her permanent name. I thought about “Yaddle,” who like Yoda was a Jeidi master but female, but Lady does not like it.
So give me your thoughts and let’s go on this next journey together while never forgetting the love, joy and craziness Yoda brought to the lives of so many

Thank you, Mike, who was not a
cat person, UNTIL he
met Yoda. Mike has a big
heart and I know him, his
wife Lady and their
baby Bucky will love
Princess Leia and give her
an amazing life.

Have a great day,
and hug your fur babes
today,
Pam

I love it when cats stretch like that. I tell Lizzie she's flirting. And she is! Nice job kudos to Mike and Yoda and the rescue. And to you, belated birthday greetings!
