Prompts of Yellow and Words

Not totally sure if I am 

playing along with this theme/

prompts/whatever

but here I go.

I was over on Elephants Child

and saw this idea and 

like I said, here I go~

The prompts are given and 

it is supposed to help 

encourage you to write.

Now we all know, I have

no issues writing a post daily

but this will be different sort

of thingy. haha

The color is yellow.

These are the prompt words, 

not sure if I am supposed to use

all or just some. I am going with 

some.

To show off the yellow I 

am going to go around the house

and see if I can locate that color.

As I describe the items I 

will try to work the words in 

with the pics.

The first pic I took was of 

my coffee cup since it was sitting

here with me.

There are those tiny 

little yellow flowers.

Then I got up off my rear and 

looked around. I don't have a lot

of yellow, esp this dark yellow, 

but I found some. 

Crayons came in this tin that

I have sitting in the living room.

I grinned when I took this pic, it

reminded me of my son, it was his.

I looked for yellow in several 

places and found this in 

my closet.

I might have to wear that

shirt on Friday, since 

I have not worn it this yr.

Why?

I really don't like wearing

my better clothes when just

chilling at home.

I really do like the pop

of yellow here and there.

I have this painting hanging in

my bedroom. 

Here is a closer shot

of flower in that painting

that shows that yellow.

 Oh yay, another painting.

It also has a touch of that yellow.

Then I ventured off to the 

kitchen. A magnet on the fridge.

I have always loved

hot air balloons. I have been

up in one, soaring around and 

you do go pretty high up.

Skipped over to the dining room 

where I have my hutch with some

heirloom pieces in it.

I always loved this piece. 

My great granny gave it to my

mom. It's for plants but if I took

it out to use it, I would just stick things 

in it. 

I made my way back to the

living room. I bought this

pitcher several years ago at

Goodwill. Gives off an amazing

pop of that dark yellow.

Pop not only in the pitcher but

in the flowers also.

Then crafty stuff, that color

is also featured in some of it.

I did not use all my words

in the prompt but I tried.

You know, looking around for this

color, I realize that in my

process of changing things, 

adding my touch to my home,

I need more color!

Yellow, 

Red,

Purple,

whatever!

As an artist, you would think that

I would decorate with lots 

of color but I don't.

Crazy huh?

Do you have pops of this

color in your house?

Do you have more than pops,

or maybe a different color?

I loved strolling through my 

rooms looking for 

this yellow.

Reminded me of things 

that we used to do as kids.
