Under the Tree, Christmas Day, and The Great Grands/Chairs

RIP
Pres. Jimmy Carter
100 years old.

After all is said and done,
we had a lot of room under
the tree, so Misty and I chilled
for a bit under it.

Even I got under there!
haha

This is the new tree I bought
when I moved in to put
up this yr. I love it but
was so surprised when I opened
it and saw the lights on it.
Not your normal small lights.
But they are cool.

I am hoping that you had
a great holiday and a
very Merry Christmas.

I had a lot of family time and
being a photographer, you would
have thought I had taken
a lot of  pics.....
NOPE!
I am slipping.

Christmas Eve was at my
house and I had a nice
spread of finger foods,
which there are no pics
to prove it!
haha
We had veggies and dip
ham, cheese sandwiches or
chicken salad sandwiches,
pizza rolls,
chips, little smokies
in bbq sauce, and
sausage balls.
Along with Rice Krispie
treats, choc fudge and
brown sugar fudge.

Then gifts.

Christmas day was dinner,
late afternoon at
Ambers.
Most of these pics I
got from Amber.
Felicity was hanging around
waiting for dinner to be
ready and gifts to be
opened.

So was Alistur AKA Boog.

Look at those smiles.

Look at Mr. Little One.

Here the great grands are
getting to open their
chairs.

Felicity was taken with
Beckham

Amber was finishing up
dinner and Felicity was hungry!

Oh that look!

And Evie was so tired.

Great Nana Pam loving on this
bundle of love.

Oh look, he finally has his
eyes opened.

Just the other day I made this for
Beckhams room for
Christmas.

 Amber loved her special
painting I did for her.

Got a text the day after Christmas,
this pic was included

and the text said, Evie loves
her chair. How sweet.

Then Amber got a call from
Boog and Felicity, they were
playing with the blocks
Amber got Boog and they
were sitting in their chairs.

Christmas day, when they opened
the gifts, Boog was so excited
when he saw the dinosaurs he said,
"Dinosaurs, look I have
dinosaurs"!
Made me feel so good about
the choice.
SMILES!!

I think that the girls are
glad that all the
festivities are done and
over with. Tree is still up,
but I have taken some of the
things down and I stacked them
up so that when I go to pack
up, they are not all over the house.

Been taking it somewhat easy the
last two days, rain and body said
it was time.

Now, to bring in
the
NEW YEAR!

Pam

Out of all your lovely images, that cardinal painting with its note moved me most. I recall the red bird sighting gave you comfort after your mother passed away. ~hugs~ Oh, and don't be hard on your lack of photographing everything; just enjoy life the best you can. Bell well, my dear.
