Family Dinner and Movie Time, Great Grands Christmas Gift
Nachos, cookies and
Home Alone.
Nope, I was not home alone,
I was not even home.
Had dinner at Amber's,
we had nachos, cookies
and then we did Amber's
favorite Christmas movie.
We sat up the air mattress for
the boys, Braden got it sat
up and even made the mattress
(bed) up.
However, it blew up
higher than I thought it would.
Braden got bored, and went
to his room to play games
online.
But DJ hung out and watched
the whole movie with
Amber, Will and I.
When it came to letting
the air out Braden came
back to help. Between him,
DJ and I got on it to help push
the air out.
The air goes out fast and before
no time, we were on the floor!
I think I told you in another
post that I had all my
shopping done and under
the tree...
I DO...
BUT, yes, there is a but,
I had three that I had
not finished, or even
started. So, this past week,
I was able to get them started
and actually, finished two of them.
Now the back story for what I
am working on.
I bought these chairs over
two years ago at Goodwill.
They were to be for the three
great grandkids but with being
so sick in 2023 and then
the move, they did not get
done. I pulled them out of
the storage unit a couple
months ago, and just this week,
I brought them in to play with.
I got these 3.99 each. So, I am
now putting my love and talent
into them.
This one is for Alistur.
He loves dinosaurs.
So, of course I did her
chair in butterflies, and since
she likes pink, that is
the color I went with.
I wanted to do something that
Felicity likes but I did not
want to do her chair in
Peppa Pig. I have a dragonfly
necklace that she just loved,
so, at that point I started calling
her my dragonfly.
Deciding what to do her chair
in was not a big deal,
dragonflies.
I have not drawn the dragonflies,
on her chair yet but I
hope to get that done in
the next couple of days.
Her colors of her room are
purple, and yes, you guessed it,
I will be doing hers in purple.
Next, seal them and wrap them.
Question that popped into
my mind then, was how to wrap
them. In the dollar store the
other day I solved that problem
also, plastic table clothes, pulled
up around them and a bow
to tie around the tops.
These are really unique children's
chairs in the shape and style.
I traced off a pattern from them
so that I can maybe make more
later on.
