Tree Again, Gray Ball of Fur, Christmas Decor Inside and Outside

On Monday evening, as I stated
yesterday, it
started...
The holiday deconrating.
May be an image of christmas tree

I did end up coming across more
ornaments. HAHA
I store those in Christmas
popcorn tins and I kept pulling
them out of the closet.

The stuff that hangs or
sits around are in plastic
bins or totes. So I am still going
through them.
Wow, sure wished it did not
take so long to put
out. I used to do it all in
one day, I will be working
on day three on Wednesday.

After the tree was up, my ball
of gray furs plopped herself
down on my chest while I took a
break!

On Tuesday, I put up a smaller
tree in the dining room.
I also hung my Santa hats.

Here are the shelves I hung in
place of my hutch. They
are full already and I have more
stuff to go.

I thought about putting out the
black tree on the front porch,
but then I ran across this one in
my stash. I forgot I had it.

Wrapped up some empty boxes and
set them out by the tree.
The bench I made a few years
back has come in handy on the
front porch. I used it at Halloween
and now for Christmas.

I was not really sold on the
arrangement with the small tree so
I dug around more in my
stash and came across this deer
and ornament.

See the snow person above
the arrangement? I painted that a few
years back on a ceiling fan blade.
Amber has one also.
The white deer I cut out from
another one I have that I found
at a yard sale.

In the center of the entrance onto the e
porch I hung the bedspring bells that I
decorated.

I went out around dusk to take
a shot of the lights, but the sunset was
also calling me, so I combined them.

Here it is. Lights on the rail, Wreathes
on the windows and the door.
The small tree decor.
And you can't see them but I have
some large ornaments hanging from
the ceiling of the porch. My
be Merry sign hung and my
Gobble till you Wobble porch
sign. Yep, I am one of those,
Thanksgiving is a day and
Christmas is a whole holiday, so
other than the sign, that is
all the Thanksgiving I have out.

I realized last night that
I forgot to hang my large star.
I made it, yep, years ago. Matter
of fact it hung at my home in Old Hickory
for maybe five years, then at mom's house for
three years and now it will hang here.
I brought it in later and will be hanging
today. Gotta check the lights and
if they work, restaple to the star, a
couple of places got pulled loose.
Oh yeah, how did I make it...
five yard sticks stapled together,
painted and
stapled the lights on.
Course, once I have that
done, I will take a pic and
hang and you know I will
show it later!!
haha

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
Take a look at the five and ten, it's glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes that glow

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in every store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door

A pair of Hopalong boots and a pistol that shoots
Is the wish of Barney and Ben
Dolls that'll talk and will go for a walk
Is the hope of Janice and Jen
And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go
There's a tree in the Grand Hotel, one in the park as well
It's the sturdy kind that doesn't mind the snow

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Soon the bells will start
And the thing that'll make 'em ring is the carol that you sing
Right within your heart

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Toys in every store
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door

Sure, it's Christmas once more. ♥
I am so jealous. I need to start decorating but I also need to get all of the out of town gifts mailed (checks) to family and then do Christmas cards. Then I need to do my kids gifts. Then I will start my tree. I'm just not feeling it this year.

I do remember the star. I'm sure you'll be pulling more out as you go. That's what's good about starting so early. You can keep adding on as the holiday gets closer.
