Sis In Law and Marshall, and Mt. Sights
I have my laptop back!
YAY!!!
With that, I am sharing with you
more Appalachian Mt. pics of
my trip.
My sis in law and her
babe, Marshall.
Oh my, James from the venue
would be crazy about these.
These are on the property next
to Ray and Lori's.
Ray and Lori own about 13 acres in
the mts. But like 1/2 of my property
is wooded with no up keep, so
is theirs. Only on the other
side of the creek, across from the cabin,
there is a road, at least that is
what the mt. people call it.
It goes straight up a hill, most
of that property is not only
wooded, its straight up.
Seriously, it don't look straight up
in this pic, but it is, it's also
one lane. Even though it is on
their property, there are three
homes on the top that have to use
this road to come and go.
Going up this mt. I was not excited,
it is narrow, right on the side of the hill
and a hook turn as you are still
trying to go UP!
I did not take pics up there but
their is a one room structure up
there, foundation of an old
church and an out house with
stain glass windows.
We jumped in the two seater as
they call it. I think it was a Polaris, but
there are several different kinds of these
toys.
Anyway, I sat in the backseat
with Marshall.
Lori attached a lead to the bar
in the backseat, and cause I did not
just him, I held on to the lead.
Problem, it was attached to the
bar in front of him and should
have been in front of me, cause
that gave him way too much
lead to hang himself with.
He was hanging out the window
like this, I turned my head, and
he jumped. 25 mph and out he went.
I had the lead, but I was not holding
it close to the collar, but when he
went out, I let go so not to hang him.
I yelled, Lori looked in the mirror
and he was running
along side the two seater.
Thank goodness he was not hurt and
we were on a one way, gravel road going
from one side of the mt to the other.
After that, we moved the lead to my
side, and I held him at the collar.
I love rustic structures so for
your viewing I am including
some for you to enjoy.
Such a shame that a home this
size has gone empty for
no telling how long.
I could really enjoy being
up there and going all over
with my camera.
I would have a blast.
More later, I promise
you all will be bored once I
am done!
Pam
