Selfies of First Cousins, First Cousins Group Pic, Picture Table and the Sign
Biggers Family Reunion
Thanksgiving Dinner
2024
The last remaining
Biggers.
Left to right~ my aunt Martha,
aunt Donna and uncle Paul.
Martha is 74, the oldest of the remaining
siblings. Donna in the middle is 70 but in poor
health and Paul is a yr older than me, 66.
Though Martha is the oldest, all three were
once the second set of children
my grandparents had.
The first set was made up of
my uncle Don, my mom,
aunt Alice and aunt Carolyn.
All four that are no longer
with us.
Here I am with my Aunt Donna.
She took after my granddaddy
with darker skin and dark hair.
This is me and my aunt Martha.
I failed to get a pic of me and
my uncle Paul.
But I did get a pic with my
favorite uncle, uncle Jerry.
He married my moms sister,
Carolyn and is the father to
my cousins Kathy, Tammy
and David.
Me and cousin Margaret.
I spent time hanging with
Margaret and her siblings when
we would travel to Ga. for a visit.
Margaret is the oldest sister
to the cousin that we lost earlier
in the week.
Second in line of the Wyatt sisters
is Becky.
Annette would be the next sister, only
she was unable to come to the
reunion. She fought and beat
cancer but is having a hard time
with Emphysema, which is what they
lost their mom too.
Next in line of the girls would
be Jerri, the sister they just lost to
COPD.
Donna comes next in the lineup.
Last in the line of the Wyatts
would be Little Ray. Called that
cause his dad was a Ray. We lost
Little Ray just 11 months ago to
drugs.
Next comes aunt Marthas
children.
First born and a lot younger
than me is Sheri.
My handsome male cousin and
Sheri's younger brother, Rusty.
Mom and Rusty had a connection,
his bday is Dec. 6th and moms
was Dec. 5th.
Then there is Kathy.
She is a yr older than me and my
bestie cousin. I was always with her
or at their house when in Ga.
Next comes Tammy, Kathy's
little sister. I sort of caught her
off guard on this pic. I told her
we were doing a selfie but right
before that, she let out a choice word
right in front of the WHOLE
bunch of family, so she was
still embarrassed by what she said.
Course I caught aunt Martha
off guard also. Its the candid shots
that get the funniest faces.
Next comes David, he is the youngest
of the bunch. He was a caught in the
change of lifetime baby and actually his
mom was pregnant with him when
her daughter Kathy was pregnant with
her first baby. I failed to get a selfie
with him also.
Last Deena, aunt Donnas oldest
child. She is a child....lol so young!
Her brother is the oldest but was
not able to make the reunion.
Three other first cousins that
were not there was uncle Paul's kids,
his son, and two girls.
Paul being only a yr older
than me, and making him younger
than my oldest brother, his kids
are younger than me.
His youngest girl is
exactly 40 yrs younger than me.
That just seems so strange since
we are first cousins.
The bunch of us first cousins
together. That is David on the
far side from me. My two brothers
are also in this pic.
My youngest brother is Mark, he is in the corner, and the guy
in the back wearing the hat and
you can barely see his face,
my oldest brother, Ray.
When my cousin Jerri past,
I sent a tax to both Mark and
Ray, however, I left out the cause.
I did not want to share that
with Ray since the last couple
of years and esp the last couple of
months have been hard on him.
He has COPD.
I am not going to post all
the candid pics I took
at the reunion of everyone...
yay, y'all are lucky.
But I did want to include this.
It is a picture table. A month
ago, Kathy contacted me and
asked if I had pics of the cousins
together growing up. She wanted
to put them on a table for all
to see.
I sent her emails of what I had.
Kathy and Tammy went
through their moms pics to see
what she had. In the process, they
pulled out pics that mom had sent
to aunt Carolyn of our kids, so
those were put in an envelope to
give back to us.
Some of those pics ended up
accidently put on the table.
One of those pics was one of
Marks daughter Holly.
Kathy saw it and wanted to
know who could have put it
there. No one standing around knew
how it got there. Kathy
was just confused since she did not
do it. We turned it over and
found this writing.
At this point we still did not know
how the pic got there, but we
thought of it as sign,
this is my moms writing.
I told everyone it was her
way of saying she was with
us, but actually all my mom
would have been saying was,
this is the only way you would
get me there!!
Oh my gosh...
Looking at the pics
below, can you find me?
your life? Often?
Have a great day,
Pam
