Misty the Adorable, Another Project and a Trip

Morning peeps!
Isn't this babe adorable as
she sleeps? 
I never used to have to get
on to Misty for anything 
she did, but things change.
About a month ago she finally
found that knocking things
off of other items, like the 
dresser or the coffee table is 
fun!
Lily as never been big on that,
oh wait, there was a time that she
wanted to knock her bowl of food
off the BR sink. I had to get a strip
of carpet and velcro her bowl 
to that. 
I know, it's a thing
with cats!

Speaking of things
with cats...Misty don't
play much but every 
now and again, I 
catch her. 

Another project started 
and finished,
and its on
scrap wood! 

Wait, not finished yet,
I will add a bow!

My older brother and sis in law,
own a cabin in 
Marshall NC.
Thank goodness no damage
was done to their place.
I have been wanting to go and
visit their place for 
year. However, I was getting
over surgery and planning 
a move at this time last
yr. Then Lori and I talked
about this past spring, 
which at what point I was
dealing with stones again.
But I am going this time!

Camera is going with me,
so, pics next week!
I will be off blogging 
till maybe Monday.

The Rest of Today

After my trip to town today,  visit with the doc, stopping  and picking up breakfast I  headed home.  I had dropped Dakota off at mom's for the day. He was going  to spend the day  playing with Klohe and Cheyenne. While he was hanging at mom's Lily and I chilled all day.  So much to do but I can't seem to get it in gear. Later....I had an apt for a hair cut. But I left out early to stop  at the  Mystic Heart. Hot Water Heater Mishaps

 As I stated the hot water heater sprung a leak, from the bottom.  My younger brother came to help  with the issue. Problem, the  value at the bottom where you screw in  the hose to drain the tank, was  all clogged up.  It sets so close to the bottom  that it is hard to slip a  bucket under to catch water if we were to get the clog undone. There was no moving it till water was drained off the tank. We opened the top value, and leaned it over to drain into buckets. I have a great big  plastic tub, like this one. We filled it by leaning the  hot water heater over. Finally got enough off to be able to slid onto the two wheeler  and move out of the garage. Once we had it there,  we lowered it to the ground and let it finish with the drain. Mark went to Lowes and got another one, installed it and  had me up and running. The damage had been done though. With the unit on the  other side of the BR, water came under the wall and flooded the BR,  and the carpet in the den.  Yes, the same two roo
