Goofy Aric and I, Misty Chilling, Jacket, and Deer

Not only did I head back to my
old stomping grounds for James and
Julie's cookout. I also went
to my brothers and picked up
my laptop! Yay....I have a smaller one
I have been using but I prefer the
larger ones, so I am happy blogging
today!

At the venue, I am sure you
remember that we always do a
normal pic or two but then
we always do a silly one.
Aric and I kissed Gigi
in this pic.
Gigi is James and Julies
babe. They lost my favorite girl
a few months ago. Rain Drop
was the sweetest and she was also
from the same line of blood
that Gigi is, but she was a lot
older. Gigi is four and
Rain was 14, which is amazing
for a larger dog.

After Misty and I did our
sleep in on the couch yesterday,
after I got up I found her chilling
under the tree.

Misty has always been drawn to
the Christmas tree but more
so now. She loves to chew on the
wired branches.
Then this morning, Lily was
doing it also.

Speaking of which, Terry, I
have some questions about Lily,
and I am going to send you an
email! Sorry dude, you have been
dealing with cats a lot longer
than me, so tag you are it!!

But moving on with this post
before I send the email,
when I left Sunday to go to the
cookout, I grabbed a jacket from
the closet. I figured when the sunset
I would need it.

I slipped it on and headed to
the car, only to realize, I did not
need it at that time. So, standing
at the car with the door opened
I took it off and went to drape it
over the back of my seat, when
I noticed the tag was still on it.

I would have laughed so hard
if I put that on and everyone saw it.
Thing is, my sis in law gave this
jacket to me when she cleaned
out her closet. HAHA...
and this is not the only one with
a tag on it.

I could start a trend, be like Minni Pearl
only with tags on clothes!

On my way to the venue on
Sunday, I spotted three deer,
since there is woods and a lake.
When I left there and headed to
my brother's house, I saw this dude
waiting on the side of the road for
me to pass before running out.
I did stop to take the pic, at
that point he decided to walk
across the road in front of me.

Saw this mom and babe on
Ray's property going up the driveway.

In all, I saw 8 deer on my trip yesterday.
Thing is, I live in a totally rural area and I have
not seen this many deer in a yr.
That goes to show that a city or town
growing pushes these babes out of their
home and they have to live closer to
people. I might not see them
much out here, but I know they
are enjoying life not being pushed
out of their home and having
to live with
people.
