Boys and Nana (me), Watercolors and Julie

Here is a reply to

on the charm
bracelet. No, I
do not wear it now.
I did when I worked
as recently as two years
ago but since I really
don't go very many
places that I wear
jewerly. Plus, when I
do, and I love
wearing jewerly, esp
bling, I have so much
to pick from I usually
don't pick that.

Thursday was the first day of school
here in Hickman Co.
They just go for a couple of hours,
check in, set up for their Chromebooks,
and meet the teacher.
Then they don't go back till
Monday.
This is a pic the night
before school.
Braden and I
And DJ and I.

B is almost as tall as I am and
DJ, well you can see, he
past me up a long time ago.

I try to fix a meal once
a week for Amber and the boys,
just to help her out some.
So I had them to dinner last night.
I made mozzarella chicken,
squash and onions, broccoil and corn.
The corn was for me, I love it
and I have not had any in a while.
I am not a fan of broccoil but
I did eat a couple of bites for the
green aspect.
Mozzarella chicken is where I
cook my chicken, this time I
did tenders and cut them up, usually
I do breast but tenders are
juicier. Once cooked, I put in a
casserole dish with oregano, basil,
parsley, salt, pepper and garlic.
Pour over Ragu spag sauce and
top with mozzarella cheese and put in
over, 350 till warmed all the way.

Thursday morning I decided to
do some watercolor.
I explained before that I love
doing it but I don't need all
those things I paint so I have
been making them into cards to
send to friends.

Before I moved out here in
no wheresville, I used to sit
with a friends cat. She had three
then. I decided to send her
just a hello card. This goes
to Pam.

And one to my dearest of friends,
Julie. Julie and I have been
friends since 7th grade.
Yep, I was also maid of honor in her
wedding many, many years ago.

Oh my gosh, that was 46
years ago..
YIKES
time has flown by so fast.

Here is a pic of Julie
and I last yr when we
got together for lunch.

But this is Julie and I back
years ago.
Julies sister was having a baby
shower and everyone came
looking nine months pregnant.

Oh goodness!
haha
Wonder if I should mention this
to Hannah for her
shower for Beckham.

I like the pics of you and the boys. Those stinkin' kids grow too fast! My granddaughters will be taller than me before I know it too.
Your meal sounds good and I love your watercolors. I know people are thrilled to get a card like that.
The boys sure have gotten big! That card is so darn kitty cute!

Yep, those boys are passing you up in height for sure. That's nice that you make them dinner once a week.

Yup, it's almost school time. (We call that day--a couple hours on campus to set up--orientation here. I think that's soon, but since I don't have to be there...)

So, you did wear the charm bracelet recently. (Yes, I'll consider 2 years ago recently.)
Love that last picture, that is hilarious!

You cards are fun! And the boys -- so tall. Time's flying. I wish school didn't start till after Labor Day!
