Sock Monkey, Hummingbirds and Showing its Butt

Sure I told all of you about the
stuffed animals I put on the back
of my car. Started it during COVID,
I was on the road back and forth
to my home I owned, cleaning out
moms home and moving stuff there,
kids were not in school so I
wanted to have something that
would make kids smile.

I had a giraffe on there the last
few months but it was beginning
to look worn for wear so I
changed it out for a sock monkey.
I found I can get cute stuffed animals
at Goodwill for 3.99.

Saturday I kept going out on the front
porch to watch the hummingbirds, with
my camera of course.
The female is the lightest in
color and she is bigger than the
male and the baby.
I had been trying to get a good
shot of the male, but he is
camera shy.
However, I finally got a
couple shots of him.

He is so tiny and so pretty.

That is the male with his back
to the camera. Female
facing the camera.

Having problems keeping the
wasp away from the feeders. I read
that they can kill a hummingbird.
But this one almost
drowned himself, I think!

This is what I call showing
its butt.

HAHA.....oh well.

Have a great week,
Pam

Love the stuffed animal. Cute.

Awww on the hummingbirds. Love watching them. We have been feeding them for years.

The wasp has to eat too. Cute.

Have a fabulous day, Pam. Scritches to the kitties. ♥

Fantastic pictures of the hummingbirds

The hummingbirds are sharing? I've seen instances when one hummingbird will claim a feeder and fight off others who attempt to use it.

Please don't worry about wasps versus hummingbirds. The former are important pollinators while the latter just go to another feeder if feeling threatened. :D While no expert, I've witnessed this behavior for many years. Hugs, my dear.
