Hose Pole, Trash Corral, and the Deck

If you remember around
Mothers Day
I got the pole for the hose
in the ground.
HAHA
Today, I got the hook on
it only to realize since I have
two hoses attached together,
I am going to need
a bigger hook.

I also got this finished,
the trash corral.
I was not totally thinking
this out I guess and I
took it as high as the
poles, which is too high.
Going to cut around the top
and remove it.

88 degrees out there and
I literally was sweating with
water coming out of my hair.

Check out this baby girl!
She laid up here and watched
me clean the deck.

I finally got the deck cleaned.
Believe me, it needed a good
cleaning, but more than
not, I needed to pick some
things up and get them moved.
Anyway, here is the deck...
all of the deck.

The comfy daybed.
My set up for being outside
when its cooler.

The daybed was on the side
of the deck close to the
backdoor and the wall.

This is the area before the
door.
All set up with the cat bed
for Misty. She is the only
one that sleeps on the glider.

Before you get to the glider
is my card table. I have a more
narrow table for here but its
in storage.
I can have dinner on the
deck, haha, when it
is cooler of course.

Never mind the junk at
the door, that is what the boys
are going to move to the shed
this weekend. That is
also what I had to move
around on the deck so I
could get it all set up.

 I got two chairs, metal
and wood for 20 bucks.
But I felt I needed two more.
The one place we have around
here to eat, moved to the next city
and they got rid of some
of their stuff. I got two metal
chairs for 40 bucks.
60 bucks, four chairs,
perfect for my living space
on the deck.

What sort of place do you
have for outside, to sit, talk,
chill or just get away?

It's looking good! You've been working hard in that heat.
We have 2 glider rockers on our porch and we love sitting out there and relaxing. But it's too hot here too right now.

I wish we had enclosed our second story deck or lower back patio. ~sigh~ As it is, I started spending cooler days under my chestnut tree in combination with my beach umbrella. In past years I'd often sit on that back patio (where I had my snake encounter last summer - lol) and even haul out a fan if it got too out. But the critter activity is a thousand percent more visible out front since the neighboring field turned into a jungle. Let's hope our temperatures drop. Hugs, my dear.
Your deck area and everything else is looking so nice. We don't have an outside area to enjoy, we donated our deck to the ferals.

Now that you have your deck set up, it's going to be too hot to use it. Well, for a bit, anyway. I hope you have a great time out there for many years to come.

I would love to do something like that on my deck but it doesn't have a roof over it.
Your temperatures are high, but everything is looking good.
It's nice to sit out in some shade when the temperature rises!

All the best Jan
