Lily Rare Form, Cable Box, My Chest, Spoons, Turtle, Paintings, 2nd Secret

Oh my, I am so sorry,
that I have been MIA.
Thanks Darla for checking in
on me.
I have been just laying
low, trying to care for me.
 I just finsihed up my
second round of meds for a
UTI.
To top it off, being yucky
for two weeks, I have also been
dealing with car repairs.
Tha my friends will
be another story.
But for now, this post
was written days ago, so I
am going to go ahead and
share it with you.
Then tomorrow, I will
jump in and hopefully
start playing in blog land again.

 Oh my gosh,
Lily has been in rare form the
last couple of days.
Sat. morning she woke me
meowing constantly.

Not wanting anything really,
but just thinking I need to get up
I guess. That was around 3:30am.

After getting up and checking
food and water, I went back to
bed. She started again, she wants to
go outside. I left her out
of my room,  and shut the door.
I got some sleep then.

Sunday morning, AGAIN.
She has become very demanding
but usually only in the morning.

But with that said, once
Lily has me up and about,
I find this.

But its not just her.
I keep finding Misty on
the cable box.
Ordering her a pet
warming pad.

Bless her heart, she is
just a tad too larger for
the cable box.

So, when I found those two
snoozing, I heard
the couch calling my name.

haha!

Somethings don't change though,
every evening, I get a visit
from the gray dust ball that
is too large for the cable box.
Problem, she is a tad to big
for my chest also.

Only she don't know it!

She jumps up, stands or sits up
for a min of two, looks around,
then she lays down.
Usually, she will tuck her
head under my chin.
She catches me most times
with the laptop in my lap.
I have to wrap my arm around her
to keep her from sliding
off the side. and mind
you, she is not light, so
my arm gets tired.
She will sleep like this for
30 to 45 mins, when all of a sudden
she wakes, does a cute meow and
hops up. Then she is gone!

After I finished up my
wood burning pics I worked on
some spoons.
Front side.

Back side.

I saw this on FB.
I think it is adorable.
I found a rock that would be perfect
for the head. Legs should not be
an issue but gotta work on
the body.

Just think it would be so cute
in a garden.

On Sunday I worked on a
project that has been in the works
for over a yr. I planned it out in
my head then, using pieces of wood.
I started on that thought, it did
not work out like I wanted, so my
thoughts went back to canvas.
That got pushed back due to
feeling so yucky last yr. before
my surgeries.
I started painting a couple, hit
and miss sort of thing before I moved
and it got pushed aside again.
Started it a couple months ago
yet again, on the deck but
due to the allergy crap, I stopped
again.
However, Sat. night, I decided enough
was enough, so Sunday I
got going on it ......
AGAIN!

I thought I was done with
these. BUT, I found another
8x10 painted black canvas sitting
on the table right in front of me.
DUH, I think to be able to
spread it out a bit over the bed, I
might need that extra 8x10.
Tomorrow, I will paint one more.
get some saw teeth hangers and
place them above the bed.
The colors will match
my bedspread and you know
that I will post a pic once
they are hung!

When I told you I had a secret,
I did not tell the whole
thing. There was actually
two secrets to tell.
First was this one

but the rest is this....

Hannah was having pics
made so they could announce
the baby, but Big B threw
in a surprise she knew nothing about.

I love Hannah's reaction.

Not only is there to be a new
BABE,
that is to be a
wedding.
Congrats Hannah and
Big Brayden.
I am so happy for this
couple and wish them
nothing but the best.

Happy, Happy,
Happy!

Pam

A UTI and car repairs? Yuck! Glad you're doing better.
You've been very busy though. I love the spoons and the art work. They are both beautiful! And that turtle idea is so cute!
Congrats on baby and engagement!

Take care. Sometimes you just need to lay low and rest. I know how those projects that seem to take a while go. I've done a few. (I'm sitting on a few.) Congrats to Brayden and Hannah.
Your girls sure do love you! Hooray for the sweet and happy couple!
